Absolutely disappointed with the service.... We were sitting for almost half and hour and no server has even looked at the table, let alone take an order. I have posted a video with my review and clearly it is visible that there are highly understaffed and people are lined up at the counter just to get a bill or ask for someone to take the order. During this whole instance, the manager is not even visible on the floor. For a 20 table (each seating 4-6 people) space, they had only 2 people who also were stuck at the billing counter. It was a whole scenario of looking busy, doing hardly anything. When we finally got to order at 2:50 (30 minutes after us waiting), the fish meals is already over, we got a mutton biryani without mutton but with chicken 65 instead. Can't complain about the food itself. It was really good and filling. After we finished our meal, and there were only 3 tables occupied, the manager came and asked us if we need anything. The entire Junior Kupanna brand is only becoming worse with such experiences. Not sure how long they will survive with such customer experience

Junior Kupanna has been a pioneer chain popularising the lesser known Kongu micro cuisine of Tamil Nadu. Their pricing might be premium but you cannot see them compromising on quality or taste. On a recent drive back home from Chennai, I discovered an outlet on the Chennai Bangalore national highway just outside Kanchipuram. This physical space was once Thambi Vilas, an upcoming chain popularising Thanjavoor micro cuisine, I guess. We seated ourselves and ordered their signature Parotas with one portion each of Kovai Chicken Curry & Kongu Chicken Gravy. For sides we picked the Chicken Pallipalayam too. We were told that Parota will take about 15-20 mins, yet we decided to wait. But after about 20 mins we were told that the morning batch of Parota didn't turn out well so they are taking it off the menu for now. Disappointed, we settled for some Erode Egg Kal Dosa for me, Erode Kal Dosa for wifey and a Nice (meaning thin, colloquially) Ghee Dosa for my daughter, which took its sweet time to turn up. When the food finally arrived, everything was on point, the flavours were balanced and went perfectly with both the kal Dosa and nice Dosa. Flavour wise between Kovai Chicken Curry & Kongu Chicken Gravy, the difference was mild. The Chicken Pallipalayam was probably the highlight, it was extremely well made and kept the Junior Kupanna signature intact. One inconvenience was me finding tiny chicken bones not just in Chicken Pallipalayam, but also in both the curries which made the dining experience very cumbersome, something that is not expected from a popular chain like Junior Kupanna, they definitely need to take care of this. I did go for another Nice Dosa as we noticed some Parotas flying off to neighbouring tables so we requested a portion, which was not the best version the restaurant is known for but a decent version to devour our breakfast hunger. Do stop here if you are craving for a non-vegetarian breakfast when driving from Chennai to Bangalore, but the service is extremely slow and they are heavily understaffed for breakfast, possibly it is a much better situation for lunch. I did try to communicate my feedback to the person supposedly assuming the manager's responsibility, but he wasn't very open and kept justifying about getting a smaller crowd for breakfast so they don't want to increase their staff, and dish availability.

Ordered mutton biryani as chicken biryani was over by 2:15pm. Non veg meals too. Biryani was ok ok. Naati chicken chukka was ok. Non veg meals was horrible. Rice definitely was mixed with soda. Only fish curry in f items of non veg meals was edible. Horrible experience

A delightful fusion of excellent food & warm ambiance. It's a gem that deserves all the praise. Recommended for anyone seeking a memorable dining experience.

Very worst Guys I went today, The service was Average, coming to Quantity they provide very worst a child can't eat that.... that much very less Quantity they provide I ordered chicken biriyani, chicken rice and Ghee roast, everything was below average and Quantity was too less Price was too high... Guys if you are reading this review pls don't go this is the sadest day for me I wasted 703 RS from my salary pls don't go Guys.... junior kupuna is worst now a days !!!! I strictly warn pls don't go such a horrible Rsstaurent I asked complemtry foe worst Quantity the Manager Saying we can't provide anything get lost nu I came out.....worst experience in my life worst worst worst I will seriously Address this issue ...and the response from Manager was also worst Guys don't encourage like these kind of restaurants He didn't even behave properly to my mother she asked for complementry he said we can't give anything pls don't go guys I will put it in twitter instagram facebook pls don't go to Junior Kuppana Guys.

Lunch - Fish fry in meals had rotten fish. Gravy for chapati was spoilt. Overall worst. Service mediocre. When you spend so much here you expect excellent food, but its inedible and rotten

Best service and tasty food.. Manager Kannathasan did a good job.. kudos to the whole team..

Food was good ...very warm ambience prices are little expensive, half of the dish in the menu is not available. Quantity also less.
