This is an excellent place for a getaway. I joined the keep safari (only managed to see bisons) and the nature walk. Elephant bathing, feeding and tell us how they are trained. Elephant bathing is an excellent experience showing relationships between humans and elephants. Food is excellent and people are really cordial. Fun place to be......
It's an unique experience here in Dubare elephant camp. Forest view cottages were amazing. You can see camp elephants grazing around all day. Enjoyed hours long safari in wild forest
I recently visited Dubare with family for a vacation, we had one of the best experience and loved the stay here, the place is excellent situated in midst of nature, river cauvery.. The resort has an amazing view, we enjoyed every moment here, The safari was good and fire camp with snacks was ultimate for the weather, The most memorable experience was giving bath to elephants and watching them from near. A big thanks to the manager and entire staff of jungle lodges dubare for such an amazing welcome, Hospitality, care, guidance and for helping us have such an incredible experience and memories.
This was my first experience of staying at Jungle Resortsand I completely loved the experience. The booking comes with an intricately designed one day itinerary that included - all 3 meals of the day +snacks, 2hrs Jungle Safari, Elephant bathing, nature walk and a bonfire. The staff was very hospitable and helpful. Don't expect the rooms to be 5 star hotel accommodation. The rooms are clean and spacious and have the best view in the world that beats any 5 star hotel. We had a forest view cottage and I must say "Best view ever". We got to see Elephants, cows and goats at all times of the day from our room.
It is situated at about 8km from kushalnagar bus stand. It is very crowded especially on Saturdays and Sundays. It has rafting which you can enjoy @ around 600rs and boating You can play with elephants
I would recommend to book in advance for the Elephant Interactions - which costs Rs.1000/- per head through Jungle lodges and Resorts, Karnataka official website. Though bit costly, it's totally worth it. Breakfast plus transportation through boat will also be included in this fare. You don't have to wait in long long queue, don't have to wait for interactions with many elephants also. Totally worth it !
Nice place where you can see tamed elephants. Inorder to go you have to cross river .which will taken care of .150/- is fee for both elephant camp and boat ride
