Jungle Lodge Resorts - Resort hotel in Dharampur - Solan, India

Nice hotel but zero hospitality. The people on the reception are Rude as hell. Upon reaching the hotel first they tell the extra charges which are applicable. On our day 2, a family was partying till late night 4am with loud music and a lot of commotion, we called at the reception 2 times around 2am, no action taken. Upon asking for bottled water, they first tell you, it is going to be chargable. We didn't ask you do not charge for it. No housekeeping done till you ask them to do, no dishes picked up after your meal. Breakfast not fully ready till 8.30 am, whereas the timing is 8am onwards. We had to leave by 8.30am so were given only few option for breakfast like fruits and breads and a snack only. In the end, the bell boy just kept the luggage in the parking and left. Poor hospitality.

Had a pleasant stay at very reasonable rates with very pleasant staff and excellent food and ambience. Great location, away from city hustle and bustle. Only 1 hour drive from Panchkula. Overall great experience and would recommend highly.

Property is good well maintained neat and clean rooms . Food is amazing . Staff is also good . special thanks to Mr. Mohit bhaiya to give special care. Greatest stay ever

Location and resort seems to be perfect for a joint family to enjoy, 5 minutes drive away from highway; link road is broken and needs repair, food is fine~can be improved: more options to be added in buffet. Scenic beauties from restaurant/bar and play area. Considered a good stay

I giving it overall 4 star for only some sort of toilet smell is observe in the morning in play area otherwise awsome.

Unsafe for women and unsuitable for family. Mis-managed, unprofessional and unethical. Reception works like snail. The lodge people Gaurav, Mohit are rude and liars. The response of lodge (Dharmshala in jungle) owner, which is full of lies and false claims, establishes that they are not bothered about the interests and happy stay of the tourists. They are only interested in money minting. At 11.45 am we were on the way having snacks in an eatery on the highway. Not even water, what to talk about welcome drink, was offered. We were asked to wait in the lawn area under the sun on a hot and humid day. They refused to let us sit in AC area for waiting time. We NEVER asked for early Check-in at 12 PM. We patiently waited for our checkin at the given time after our arrival at around 1.15 pm. Room was not ready even after 2.30 PM. They are trying with false claims to snub and are indulged in implicit bullying to conceal the reality of their services and responsibilities for what they are paid for. They are threatening to remove this realistic review of factual position of the lodge, facilities and their unethical behaviour. "Love" of tourists was evident from complaints from other tourists present there for even small support/ services. The refund was assured for their shabby treatment for which a slip with due signatures, was also issued by lodge. Later they changed their stance unethically when I was back home after trip and called them. Bulk of false claims and lies. I had to move out helplessly and search for another alternative place of stay somewhere else along with my wife and two daughters. Family people must think twice before visiting this Dharmshala in Jungle. It feels unsafe with family in dealing with their rude staff which forced me move out from their lodge. Have gained high ratings contrary to the realities, using propaganda reviews using fake ids. Concrete infra in jungle with minimal scenic view, difficult to reach, unethical and very poor services and support from lodge make it unworthy choice for vacation. ----------------------------------------- ORIGINAL REVIEW. {Rating 0/5} Donot get trapped please. Hopeless and disgusting experience. Staff is unfriendly and lousy. Checkin time is 2 PM which is quite late considering that checkout time is 12 pm. The rooms were not ready till 2.45 pm. Rooms are messy and okaish. Highly unprofessional and non-responsive staff least bothered about guests. Location is not easy to reach with bad approach road of 2 kms and there is no support from rude staff. Very little space for parking on the location. Site gives almost zero scenic views unlike claimed in the photographs. Just concrete structures on different floors. DONOT be influenced by Propaganda reviews. Charges are exorbitant and unjustified. No welcome drinks or so. They agreed for the refund of booking as their services are sub-standard & unprofessional and issued a refund slip also. But later on unethically they are refusing the refund. The sales people Gaurav and Mohit are rude and liars Recommended to AVOID at all costs.

The road to this place is bit narrow and I recommend to drive cautiously, but when you reach this place everything about it is good the service is fab, food is yum. Staff is very polite and helpful. Rooms are good.I would say it's the Best place if you are planning to come in group or with family .

Its an amazing off beat location in the pine jungle. The approach road is a bit narrow but the property has its own valet parking. The rooms are excellent, views too good and lots of activity to enjoy. Live band on weekends only. Food is delicious and the staff is very responsive and polite. Two days with family would be awesome
