Jungle Bell Resort - Resort hotel in Lataguri, Jhar Mitiali - Jalpaiguri, India

Review: Jungle Bell Resort Rating: (3 out of 5 stars) I recently had the opportunity to stay at Jungle Bell Resort during my vacation in the jungle. While the resort had its highlights, there were a few areas that fell short of my expectations. Firstly, the location of Jungle Bell Resort is truly breathtaking. Surrounded by dense foliage and vibrant wildlife, it provides an immersive jungle experience. The setting is serene and offers a unique opportunity to connect with nature. The resort grounds are well-maintained, and the lush greenery creates a beautiful ambiance. The staff at Jungle Bell Resort were polite and welcoming, making me feel comfortable during my stay. They were readily available to address any queries or concerns that I had. However, I did notice a lack of attention to detail in terms of service. For instance, it took longer than expected to get a response from housekeeping regarding a request for additional towels. The accommodations at the resort were adequate, though they lacked the wow factor. My room was clean and spacious, but the furnishings and decor felt a bit outdated. The bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning worked well. However, the walls were a bit thin, and noise from neighboring rooms could be heard at times. One area where Jungle Bell Resort could improve is the dining experience. While the food was decent, it lacked variety and creativity. The menu seemed limited, and after a few days, I found myself wanting more diversity in the dishes offered. The breakfast buffet, in particular, could benefit from a wider selection of options. On the positive side, the resort offered a range of activities and excursions to explore the surrounding jungle. Guided hikes and wildlife tours were available, providing opportunities to see fascinating flora and fauna. The resort also had a swimming pool, which was a refreshing way to cool off after a day of jungle exploration. In terms of amenities, Jungle Bell Resort had a decent spa facility where I indulged in a relaxing massage. The spa staff were skilled and professional, providing a soothing experience. However, the gym facilities were limited, with outdated equipment that could use an upgrade. Overall, Jungle Bell Resort has its merits but falls short in certain aspects. The stunning natural surroundings and friendly staff contribute to its appeal. However, improvements in service efficiency, room decor, dining options, and amenities would elevate the overall experience. With some enhancements, Jungle Bell Resort has the potential to be a top-notch jungle retreat for nature enthusiasts.

Awesome stay .. nice management staff behaviour were very polite and humble want to visit again...

BAD DRIVERSThis is the worse resort I have ever visited. First of all the reception was terrible. The resort is located in a outscart place so we had to go for their cabs to travel.they did not give us the driver's contact ,so we had no other option but to pay the price they decided. it was over priced. more over the driver didn't show all the sites.OVERPRICED FOOD.the food was unhygienic. to be specific it was too oily and last day we found a big insect( seemed to be a grass hopper) in the chicken. when we complaint about this they start arguing and after a long they changed it with a omlette.ELECTRICITY PROBLEM. ar night electricity went of repeatedly.The resort has no generator if electricity goes off.BAD BEHAVIOR. Most of all the behavior of the management was impolite.When ever asked for extra plate of rice or curry or some tour suggestions they were unwelcoming.

Probably the 1st time that I am writing a bad review in trip advisor for any place. Because we faced many prblms.. There was no electricity, Ac was not working and we have to change our room BCS of AC and main point was staff of hotel were being rude they should atleast know how to behave with guests. Bad experience

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. Not so good experience due to following reasons :- 1) Very limited staff (around 2-3 people) 2) No power back up (due to rain we had power failure the last night and spent almost the entire night without power facilities) 3) The same night (due to rain) rainwater was soaking through our room's roof and we had to request to change our rooms. The alternate room was provided after 1-2 hours 4) Property is very small with no other facilities than food and lodging. It was a half-constructed property. (The food was good and tasty) 5) Resort is located not on the main location of Lataguri, but on the other side of Lataguri St. 6) Even though we stayed for 3 nights, the hotel guys refused to refresh things like towels, toiletries etc. 7) Room service was very slow, especially for morning and evening teas

hotol atmosphere is good. but break fast is very poor. Faced dificulty during check in.

Our stay at Jungle bell resort was very comfortable. The staffs were very friendly. The food was very delicious. The resort has well-decorated campus with a beautiful fountain and garden. This hotel is ideal for family visit and stay. The location of the resort is also very convenient and is just walking distance from Lataguri railway station. This hotel is also half an hour drive from New Maynaguri Railway station.

Good location and property but food service was bad. Cold dal for dinner and slow room service. Hope they improve cos I would love to go there again.
