JSPL Angul Captive Power Plant CCR Canteen - Cafeteria in Kalitala, Kaliakatajungle - , India

Subsidy canteen inside Jindal Steel and Power limited,Angul, Odisha. Situated near Power plant. Canteen serves food three times i.e. Morning breakfast, Afternoon Lunch and evening Snacks. Food is quite normal. This canteen serves both veg and nong veg food. In non veg only egg curry is served. There is no provision for a-la-carte. Common food is served. In this canteen everyone can have their meal. During Lunchtime there is little bit rush. The rush time is mostly between 12:30 to 1:30 pm. The food is good in taste and cooked with less oil and less spicy. The plates and spoons are clean and hygiene and table are cleaned too. The service boys wear clean clothes and head cap. Before having food ,you have to collect coupon by paying the money. The price for Breakfast,Lunch,Snacks is 20/-,45/-,20/- respectively.

This Central Canteen is located just infront of JSPL'S Power Plant office building. Here you can find , Normal meals i.e Breakfast, Lunch , Evening snacks & Dinner as well. The pricing are also very nominal as compared to other Canteen. Plant staff, visitors, working labour usually takes their meals here. The inside of Canteen is generic and they maintain cleanliness.

Good Steel making plant with green landscape. The big national flag in the entrance is a symbol of love towards the nation. This Steel making plant is in the process of building the nation. Landscape as well as the greenery generated by the plant give an eye soothing experience. The project is complete and in a process of streamlining the activities, rectifying the same for a better functioning of the plant.

This is by far the best canteen one can find inside the plant. Good quality is good.The only drawback is that there is no Air Conditioning.
