JSCA International Stadium Complex - Stadium in Ranchi - Ranchi, India

Ticket counters does not look like a international stadium. The small stadium, outfield is electric. The seating is ok. Lighting is really good, the entry to the stadium is dependent on your gate number. The practise courts and Lawn Tennis, Badminton and Table tennis facilities are top notch. There is an amazing cafe inside the campus as well, completely value for money.

A cricket lover's dream come true! This cricket stadium is a masterpiece of modern sports architecture. The facilities are top-notch, and the staff and managing committee are well-mannered and efficient. From the moment I entered, I felt the electrifying atmosphere and the excitement of the game. The seating provided excellent views of the pitch, and the cutting-edge technology enhanced the overall experience with real-time updates and fantastic sound quality. The amenities were impressive, with a wide variety of delicious food and well-maintained restrooms. This stadium is truly a heaven for cricket enthusiasts. The blend of world-class amenities, flawless operations, and passionate cricket spirit makes it stand out among other stadiums. I can't wait to visit again and immerse myself in the cricketing magic!

Had a great experience. However I saw many people who were unaware of the general rules facing inconvenience. So, for the first time visitors I would recommend checking the list of prohibited items to avoid nay chaos, For instance I'm mentioning few things that are prohibited: 1. Backpacks, even sling bags or purse. 2. Any eatable or water bottle 3. Coins or keys 4. Any kind of sharp objects such as pocket knife, nail cutter, etc. 5. Additional accesories apart from what you're wearing.

The decision made by the Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA) to embark on the construction of a new cricket stadium in Ranchi stemmed from a contentious dispute with Tata Steel. This dispute primarily revolved around the allocation of international cricket matches and the management of these matches at Keenan Stadium. The conflict initially arose when an international match between India and England was relocated to Bangalore. The JSCA cited their failure to receive any response from Tata Steel in relation to this matter. Subsequently, the JSCA determined that the construction of a new stadium was imperative to address these challenges. It's essential to note that the Jharkhand State Cricket Association holds the status of being a full member of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), which entails the responsibility of organizing international cricket matches within the state. However, the JSCA did not possess ownership of any international cricket stadiums at the time, with the sole venue being Keenan Stadium in Jamshedpur, a property owned by Tata Steel. Consequently, the decision was taken to initiate the construction of an independent International Cricket Stadium in Ranchi, the capital city of Jharkhand. This strategic move by the JSCA underscores their commitment to bolstering cricketing infrastructure in the region and ensuring the smooth execution of international cricket events. The decision to construct a new stadium in Ranchi represents a pivotal step in the evolution of cricketing facilities in Jharkhand and serves as a testament to the association's dedication to the sport.

JSCA Stadium Ranchi mostly international matches take place here, it was established in 2011 and has a capacity of 50000 spectators, it has two ends, MSD Pavilion and Amitabh Chaudhary Pavilion.

Stadium is located at outer Ranchi so parking space is sufficient. Though parking will be charged but one can negotiate. Stadium looks good as its newly built and since there are not much infra next to the stadium so breeze would be awesome. Foods and drinks is present at nominal rate compared to other stadiums where they would extort huge sum even for water but here water would be for free and food quality and quality would be good as per the price.

It was my dream to see the stadium.. very good place n very clean.
