Joychandi Hill - Tourist attraction in Nanduara - Purulia, India

There is temple and stunning view all around. You would need to climb about 480 steps to reach the top. Suggest to visit the place early in the morning or late afternoon

Joychandi hill is located near Joychandi pahar railway station and Raghunathpur. Around 400-500 steps to climb to reach at hilltop where joychandi Mata temple is there. In winter season many school students visit here for excursion. Best time to visit early morning or late afternoon.

Awesome experience. This is one of the best destination of our Incredible Purulia. Scenic beauty is mind blowing. Quite clean and calm tourist spot. Stairway to the top of the hill is easy and clean. Maximam people visit it in winter but to enjoy the best scenic beauty, you must visit the place in monsoon and autumn.

Nice place, we have reached top of the hill through stairs and pray to Godes ma chandi. The hill is covered with green forests.

Many of our tourist partners stayed back in the car as they couldn't climb all the stairs. The stairs are very high and when you are nearly to the top of the temple, the stairs are not proper there and only stepping stones. But is it worth the hype? ABSOLUTELY!!!! The view from the top of the mountain was just. We visited this place when evening was falling and so we had to struggle I bit while climbing down the stairs as there was no light. So I suggest everyone to visit this place before evening. A very large parking area was there in front of the gate and it was free of charge.
