Had a good experience, everytime I purchase I feel very happy with satisfaction because of them treat as a family member. Especially I want to mention dhamu and mathan.

I recently visited Joy Alukkas in Thanjavur last Saturday. This is the second time I've had a rather disheartening experience. Previously, in October 2021, I purchased a chain from the same shop, where the wastage and making charge were a mere 8%. However, this time, the same chain's hook broke, prompting us to return for repairs. To my surprise, they imposed an 18% wastage and making charge. Initially, Gayathri, the sales representative, assured me that after the exchange of the broken hook, the cost would be a reasonable 1600 INR. After some inquiry at nearby shops, we opted to return to Joy Alukkas. On this occasion, Gokila attended to us, quoting 1800 INR for the same service. After a discussion, she revised the estimate to 1600+ INR. When I inquired about the wastage and making charges, I received conflicting explanations; one mentioned a piece-wise rate for the hook, while the other indicated a flat 12%. Later, at the billing counter, Fransis advised against seeking discounts or lower prices for smaller products. I emphasized that I wasn't seeking a reduced rate, but rather, I implored them not to mislead customers with false promises. As an educated consumer, such inconsistencies in pricing and service standards are particularly disconcerting. I can't help but imagine how uneducated individuals might navigate through such situations. It underscores the importance for businesses to uphold transparency and fairness, catering to customers from all walks of life. This experience serves as a stark reminder of the necessity for improved communication and pricing policies that benefit everyone, regardless of their educational background.
