Joshibaug Urban Camping - Home Stay in Kalyan, Wadi - Thane, India

Great place for a one day outing with dogs. Around 2 hours away from Mumbai. 1.5 without traffic. Lots of pool options for dogs and humans. Food was great. Charges are nominal. Big property. We have loads of fun.

Really enjoyed and loved the experience of Joshibaug camp. Loved the trail to the banyan tree and dog pool. It was our dog's first swim so it was a truly memorial event for us. Also, all of the staff at the camp was super friendly and sweet. Would recommend it to pet owners for a nice get away experience with their pet which isn't too far away from the city.

This place is just 1-2 hours away from Mumbai suburbs and we went for a one day booking, from morning to evening with my family and 2 pets. My Labrador just loved jumping in the swimming pool and roaming around freely which isn't possible in our regular flat based city life. This is a great place for pets and dog lovers. This place is run by women (2 sisters, their mother and grandmother) and they are doing a wonderful job at ensuring the place is homely, welcoming and clean. They stay true to their roots and you can see that in the food provided by them as it is authentic village style food which is mostly grown at their own farm and everything was delicious. The staff are also very decent and nice people and so service was great. It has a great scenic view and they take you for a short nature trail. Will surely keep visiting this place again.

This was my third visit to Joshibaug. My pet loves this place as she can roam n play around freely. As usual we had a lot of fun in the pool and went for a small trek. For breakfast we were served thalipeeth. The taste was so authentic. The staff is also very friendly. My pet n I love this place. Looking forward to join their night camp soon.

This was our first visit here and we will visit very frequently now. Amazing place for humans as well as pets. Very few places actually think about pets and make the premise pet friendly. Joshibaug really mean it. when they its a pet friendly stay. There is absolute no restrictions for pets to access any area in the premise. They very thoughtfully have constructed the premise keeping the pets in mind. Dedicated Ponds for out pets to play and swim. Dedicated Park for the pets with sand pond. The staffs are very polite, focused and dedicated towards serving the guests. The food was super tasty and yummy. The place is well maintained and clean. Overall we Had a wonderful time and it feels like our second home.

Had an amazingly wonderful time here. Joy had the best day today after a long time, enjoying every bit of it. It was so mindful of them to have planted lemon grass and all other plants sideways so that even if your pet wants to eats them, it will cause no harm to them.The pond was the best part of Joy's play. This place is so serene and scenic, a must visit with your pet after long working weekdays. Would definitely visit the park soon.

I organize camp for dogs, and this Saturday Sunday 10 n 11 dec 2022 we did camp over there with 15 people and 6 dogs, overall experience was amazing. We met to nature with peace full and happy stay over there. No doubt food was amazing and tasty and healthy too. Our dog enjoyed there alot in swiming pool , their off leash garden and huge area of joshibaug. Overall experience was good and peace with them.

Went here for a day-trip. The owners are very hospitable and accommodating! It's a pet-friendly place. We enjoyed swimming, small jungle trek/hike, scenic views for photography and lovely food. Definitely visiting again with a bigger group.
