Very bad service, the management didn't let us stay for the night as we had a function in the resort and it was late, at 2 am in the morning, they bluntly said, we'll lock the place and go home, there is no security or electricity here at night, you cannot stay. Very poor service

The restaurant running in the resort is not up to the mark. The prices charges for each dish is comparable to fine dine but the food is pathetic. Pathetic dal makhani i ever had, chickpeas were uncooked, in raita the curd was sour, the lacha paratha were very thick and undercooked, the rice used were i suppose the cheap 20-30 RS kg rice available in market, the sugar syrup of gulab jamun was solidified and the list is endless.... Wish if there was an option for zero star.

I could just go on about all that went wrong, only for Mr. Rana to come back and say that all this is being written because the customer didn't want to pay money, but all I have to ask is what of these services that have been mentioned in my other review required any extra expense from their end which they wanted extra money for. And besides everything else, even if you don't have a facility, things that are expected the most from any hospitality service provider are responsiveness and and politeness, and on both these aspects I would give Josham resorts some negative 20 stars if possible. In the end, a free management lesson for this resort: Blaming the customer doesn't take businesses anywhere. No prospect is listening to business responses but to the word of customer's mouth.

I travelled to this resort for a friend's wedding and was totally impressed by this beautiful venue. However, the good part just ended there. The service provided by them could be rated in negative. To begin with, if you ask the owner or staff for anything, the first answer will always be no, and that too quite a rude no. Eventually, they might provide you the service, but only after wasting your time and spoiling your peace of mind. A few examples of things that happened in front of me- 1. The family of bride and groom were promised 12 rooms and the owner just a few days before the wedding went back on his words and said he will only provide 11 rooms. During the stay when guests started arriving and he was requested to provide the 12th room as well, Mr. Rana was seen talking in rude, impolite, high pitched voice to both groom's and bride's family members. Please note eventually he freed the room ( I mean if that was possible, why would you create a scene and cause stress to your customers). 2. Many of the guests were not used to the cold in the northern India, and he was asked to provide some heaters in the rooms of the elderly, same old story happened, he said no, and then arranged the heaters. But only for the guests to keep figuring where to plug them in. There were no power sockets in the rooms, and the heaters could not be plugged in at all. But, even after Mr. Rana was informed about this, he did not fail to ask for extra money for providing the heater. 3. Anyone who knows about India knows how nervous and stressed the brides already are in the wedding ceremonies, but somehow Mr. Rana remained oblivious to this knowledge because he constantly kept bothering her with something or the other, e.g., when asked to arrange for low chairs as it would be difficult for the bride to sit in a heavy lehnga on chowki, he said, these kind of chairs are not available in Bijnor and he can't provide them come what may. Later, the bride's family asked another service provider and the chairs got arranged within an hour or so. When later bride's family said they would deduct the amount paid for the chairs from Mr. Rana's payment, he accused them of cheating ( please note that the chairs have been left with the venue, which I am sure they won't hesitate to mention to the next customer (read prey) as a service from the Josham resort. It's not just that Mr. Rana was rude to the family as customers, they were rude to us guests as well. The first day there was no water except small bisleri bottles which the staff was hesitant to provide. Second day they put two water dispensers, one on each floor where guests were staying, and one on the top floor was leaking which created a huge water puddle on the tiles and was definitely a mishap in waiting. When the staff was informed about it, they responded that the cleaning staff will come at 10 am in the morning and they can't do anything about the water on the floor till then. Two people almost slipped in front of us in the water, leading to us guests having to remove the water dispenser from the area where people were walking and then place some obstruction around the water puddle so that none of us guests get hurt till the cleaning staff arrives. When we arrived, some the rooms didn't even have handwash and toiletries, and it was somehow funny to the owner and his wife. When my friend, the bride asked them about dental kits and toiletries in the bathroom, the response was, yahan ye sab kahan chalta hai (are they meaning to say that the people who come to Bijnor don't wash their hands and brush their teeth)? Also, the handwash dispensers in some of the rooms were broken and they just placed good old lifebuoy soaps in the bathroom. I mean even railway waiting rooms have liquid soap dispensers these days. The lock on the balcony door fell down when it was opened and the staff when informed didn't take the security concern seriously.
