I ordered chicken kuzhi something biryani, wasted my 330 bucks
Totally tasteless, you can order only if you're south indian, else don't even order because it's tasteless
Food is Okay, not that great. Their service is pathetic. Doesn't know how to treat their customers, let alone how to talk. My dad went to order parathas, it took more than an hour, he was waiting.. when asked abt the order - instead of asking and requesting more time, they were throwing attitude and speaking rudely to him.
You can order parathas from elsewhere coz there r lot of place in dombivli. We learnt our mistake, and will never order from here.
Good location, good ambience, good people, good service, Divine taste, authentic Kerala cuisine. Up to the mark and at a very nice location. Give it a try and see if you have a different opinion than me
Happened to discover this place which serves Kerala food. I ordered the basic Porotta and nadan chicken curry as take away. Taste was pretty decent although the Porotta tasted a bit sweet ( not sure how) but I happened to like the overall taste. Chicken curry could be a bit spicy ( it's a suggestion) the current version wasn't bad though.
Ambience wise its a small place with seating arrangement for max 6/8 people at once but decently maintained.
I recommend this place for Keralites craving for some Nadan food.
Purchased Chicken Tandoori today, for a surprise it was full of very bad kerosene smoke smell which caused the taste of Tandoori very bad. Complete waste of money.
2 min walking distance from Dombivli station, easy to locate road touched, small well maintained restaurant! Seating area are too less, only two tables are there and hardly 5 people can seat on each table. It's not comfortable for groups of more than 4 people's.But still they well maintained it in that short area. Food quality and taste was Nice. Service is too good and quick also.
This place is located at just 2 mins walk from Dombivli station (west) opposite Dombivli(W) Auto stand. Its a very quaint non- ac place with just two dining tables. But crowd is less as most of the people are there for the take out. The place is known for its Kerala Food. The food we had were:
1. Malabar Parotha- They serve the *best* parotha in Dombivli..Fresh and soft. Most recommended.
2. Appam - This one is very spongy and just melts in the mouth. Goes very well with the curries.
3. Bangda tawa fry- This was okay. Slightly less on point of flavour. Masala was not equally distributed over the fish. Next time we would try their pomfret/surmai fry. Hope for better.
4. Chicken nadan curry- Chicken cooked in coconut base with pieces of
fried coconut. Very subtle in taste. Went well with parotha and rice.
5. Kerala Biryani - Biryani was less like Kerala and more like Bombay. Flavor was close to Kerala biryani. But expected a better Masala to rice ratio. ( Which was more like Bombay biryani) . Boiled egg was an addition which I loved.
Now coming to price.. It is very economical. All this was under 600 rs.
The owners are very helpful, warm and co operative. Parking space is available easily.
.
I tried Paneer tikka masala but it wasn't up to the mark. No taste at all.
High cost and less quantity.
It might be good for Kerala dishes which I've never tried.
