On June 9, 2023, I purchased a gold bracelet from JOSS ALUKKAS - Kanchipuram branch for my engagement, which was scheduled for June 25, 2023. I began wearing the bracelet on June 25, 2023, and it broke into two pieces on July 3, 2023. It's important to note that I am not engaged in strenuous activities, as I am the proprietor of Karma Rental Store in Chennai. The fact that the bracelet broke within 10 days raises concerns about its quality. I took it to the JOSS ALUKKAS - Kanchipuram branch, where the branch manager offered to weld it. However, I requested a replacement instead, and I am willing to pay the difference if the new bracelet has a higher gold gram weight. Unfortunately, the branch manager refused my request, insisting that I could only exchange it for a new one with GST and making charges. I left the bracelet for repair on August 3, 2023, and the branch manager returned it to me on August 29, 2023, while mentioning that the model was difficult to repair and it might not last long. Frustratingly, the very next day, August 30, 2023, the bracelet broke into two pieces again. I am extremely dissatisfied with this situation and the level of customer service I have received. I have never experienced such poor service in all my past gold purchases.

Jos Alukkas showroom in Kanchipuram is small compared to the huge gold showrooms here in Chennai. But the service is excellent. We don't live in Kanchipuram .Yet when we gave an order for a neckpiece ,throughout the process of taking the order until the delivery ,the sales person Mr.Manu and his colleagues were extremely cordial and helpful.The showroom sells beautiful ornaments some of them light weight and easy to buy .
