This waterfall is situated in the Assam-Meghalaya border. Surrounded by hillocks, it's an ideal getaway from the rush of the city and the best part, it's not really far off. It's a good place for a hike/mountain biking. The waterfall is only wet during the monsoon so try to visit it in that season. And as you know nature should be respected, please don't litter the place with wrappers, bottles or food leftovers. The locals are very strict about it and it's not just about being caught; it's more about getting rid of that nasty mentality. Mountain bikers can also go further uphill from the waterfall towards a village. It's a great trail and specially you will enjoy coming down that part! (Just ride safe)
Decent trail for hikers, suitable for pleasure trip on bike/cycle. Moderate uphill from khanapara bus stop. Waterfalls in full force 1day post rainfall only. Great place for a quiet escape from the city.
Nice waterfall near the city. Full enjoyment guaranteed. A trail of 1-2 kms but the view up will amaze you
It was an adventure trip with close friends. The road to the water fall is kachcha and due to rain some places were muddy. The water fall is not so big but we found it very refreshing. We enjoyed a lot. Well, don't expect it to be a solitary peaceful place, as you might find lot of visitors (mostly youngsters) on their scooty & bikes. A piece of advice: If you plan to go there with your vehicle then avoid big cars & sedans (unless it has got a four wheel gear). Bring your own food, snacks & drinking water as there are no shops in few kms. Most importantly, avoid Sunday (unless you love to witness crowd).
There is no water there as of now. So only the mountain rocks are visible. But a good place for rock climbing.
Nice place for cyclists, the road is full of adventure and thrill. If you want to go there by four-wheelers then 4x4 is required because fwd vehicles may lose traction and the same goes for rwd vehicles .
