Joggers Park - Park in St Cruz, Panaji - North Goa, India

Jogger's Park, as the name suggests, is for jogging. But we had a different motive for visiting this park. Our goal was to buy plants for our ancestral home. After not finding anything at Children's Park, the gardener there suggested we try Jogger's Park. So, on a fine evening, we set off. There was an abundance of parking outside the park, and in fact, my car was the only one parked there. No doubt, people were actually coming here for real jogging. We opened the gate and were greeted by a beautiful and cool atmosphere. We tried to hunt for someone to help us and eventually a security guard and another man approached us. The security guard was slow, so we asked the other man for help. He directed us to the office. The security guard still hadn't managed to reach us. We met with the concerned officer who took us to the place where the saplings were kept. His speed gave us a real jogging experience! After walking for what seemed like an eternity, we finally reached our destination. Along the way, we met two kids searching for their lost cricket ball. Someone must have hit a large six! Unfortunately, there weren't many options available. Nothing really caught our attention until we saw some lemon plants. We were ready to take them home when the officer informed us that they weren't for sale this year; they were next year's plants. Dissatisfied, we left and met more kids still searching for their lost ball. We tried to help them find it while enjoying the cool breeze and not wanting to waste our trip, we started jogging. Though we had taken a long cut, this pathway seemed shorter. In the end, we left Jogger's Park (without finding the kids' ball) but with a funny story to tell and a nostalgic memory to cherish.

It the best park in the Panaji. It is situated on the hill i.e. Altinho Panaji. There is too much space for car parking. It is best place for jogging and walking. The whole garden is well maintained by the staff of the garden. They really work everyday tirelessly for maintaining the garden. The garden has been made beautifully and is having various types of flowering as well decorative plants. There are also some big medicinal plants. The best thing is that there is a name plate near every plant. The plate is showing Common name as well as its botanical name and also they have mentioned its medicinal use. Do visit joggers park and refresh your mind and stay healthy

Amazing park that anyone can visit for many activities. Cool place to spend time in evening and take some time off from stress of daily work. The park is surrounded by lush green plants and trees which give soothing warmth to eyes. The place has special track for walking and running and the other side of park can be used to host games and other events. Best place to bring children's to spend time and play. The park is visited by many people.

A very nice and beautifully maintained ,cheers to government. There are seperate tracks for jogging and walking plus benches to sit and outdoor activities no disturbance just put it headphones and run or walk or just sit and enjoy the Joggers park. Highly recommended.

Very beautiful and peaceful park situated on the Altinho Hill in Panjim. Serene place to hangout with family and friends. Good picnic spot as well.

Well maintained and many plants have given their scientific names as well as local name. Toilet are available here and being guarded by a guard all the time.

Beautiful park...well maintained and full of greenery... has kids play area and away from city noises...very lovely atmosphere and friendly people..
