This gym was amazing, bit pricey for a single visit but it has a sweet air con, plenty of weight and hell even has a climbing rope and kettle bells plus the cardio machines. All equipment is new. it's clean and the staff friendly. Never busy and honestly I Wish gyms inand thought it was fabulous! The equipment was great and there was a good range of free weights and different cardio bits - really really impressed with the facilities! Air conditioned, good change rooms with showers. Lots of new equipment to let you workout any way you want to. The staff were great and let us transfer our 1 week membership after we ended up at a different gymThis is undoubtedly the best and probably also most expensive gym on the island. Still reasonably priced for what you get and there is sauna included. It's central Chaweng located, parking from lake or beach side. Equipment is modern, pretty much everything is there but they could increase their leg station space, another squat rack would be nice. The stuff at reception is super polite and helpful (blond Thai lady) but also the shaker man, and the cleaner dude with goatee are very nice. On other hand, bunch of local PTs don't bother much to say hello and maybe they are not permanent employees but freelancers? Or they just too busy flexing their gains in the mirrors and customer service is not as important. Otherwise it's all nicely set up and not too busy. Would like to see mans bathroom having better smell and sauna needs a bit touch up as well.Elite was nearby and so glad I found it. It's sandwiched between a McDonalds and Burger King so if you can resist the temptation of the junk food then you are in for a surprise. Huge range of workout equipment. Full functional room. Plenty of treadmills and bikes in a separate air conditioned area. Loads of free weights going all the way up to the heavier weights for the serious body builders. They also have classes. 400bhat for a day pass. There is a cheaper gym nearby but it's worth paying more if you are serious about working out. Also they have a protein shake bar. I couldn't be bothered to bring my shaker and powders so got my protein hit as well.This gym is amazing. Amazing facility, top equipment and great environment. Location is good as you're walking distance to lots of stuff. The hostel is pretty quiet, so you will fee relax here. All the girls staying here seems very respectful and nice. Also the owners were extremely friendly and helpful with every questions.
