A breathtaking natural attraction. Visiting Jog Falls was an awe-inspiring experience! The sheer force and beauty of the cascading water from such a tremendous height were truly mesmerizing. The viewpoints offered stunning panoramic vistas, and the lush greenery surrounding the falls made the visit even more enchanting
Great fall, but not so gorgeous in the dry season. You have to see it in the rainy season. Lots of contraction going on , the viewing place will be great in about 2 years. Brand new observation decks. But to see it you have to also go across to the ministries guest houses. The place is open a short walk to see the falls close up and from a different angle. You also drive over the river that ends on the falls. From this side you will also see the top of the falls. Any way , worth the windy road ride from the ocean side. If you coming from the interior , windy road still. While at the observation deck. Trak a little further, you will see the Dam project a little down stream from the falls.
Very scenic place. The best time to visit is in the monsoon season. We visited in October, not much water was there. The roads leading to it are good. Evenings generally are more crowded during sunset time. Nice place overall for a family visit.
Well this is the 2nd tallest waterfall in the country and is mesmerizing. Currently there is a lot of construction going on for creation of the 5 star hotel and view points here. Hope it gets better in the future
Jog Falls is a true gem for anyone seeking a natural spectacle. The monsoon season added an extra layer of charm to our visit, with the misty air and lush green surroundings making the entire experience magical. The waterfall itself is a sight to behold, with the thundering water cascading down the rugged cliffs. What made the trip even more delightful was the availability of local food stalls nearby. We indulged in some mouthwatering bhel and piping hot Maggie, which were perfect snacks to enjoy while taking in the views. And the fresh pineapple was a refreshing treat that added a tropical twist to our adventure. The combination of nature's beauty and these local flavors made our visit to Jog Falls unforgettable. It's a place where you can connect with nature, appreciate its grandeur, and savor the local tastes, all in one incredible outing. Highly recommended for a memorable family excursion!

I visited evening around 6, Amazing waterfalls. It's very foggy in this season, when I entered I couldn't see any waterfalls it was filled with snow. I was waiting for the snow to clear then there was spectacular view of waterfalls. Few things has to be improved, view point us totally damaged tourism department know it is one of the major attraction but still the roads & pathway to viewpoint is in very worst condition slippery pathways still under construction. Advice to Jogfalls authorities please repair all pathway & roads people are not visiting free per vehicle they are charging 100 INR.
Jog falls is an awesome place to visit as a tour. When we went some construction was going on so it had been a main issue there. And before going please check once whether water has been let off the dam or not because we heard people saying that we were lucky enough to see water flow because today dams are opened but normally dams are not opened and there will be much less water flow.
It is beautiful place.. but crowded in the evening and the route to this is very difficult, better keep your stomach lite or have something to control your vomiting sensation.
It's a great place to stay. It was the best experience staying there. Location is very beautiful and close to nature. Jog waterfall is very near to homestay. This place is very well maintained...Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the Owner. They
It's really an amazing place. The best time to visit is around the end of / after monsoon. Good hospitality and rooms are really clean! The folks who manage the place are also friendly. Must visit if you want to just stay away from your city life f
very nice place, i went with my mom , wife , sister and son. Took the big room. toilets are also clean. Food is very good. ALso near by there is zipline and kayak sport. Jog falls is nearby .
Excellent place considering the limitations of the terrain. The manager of the hotel is a great caring gentleman. Staff are equally good and helpful. Rooms are decent, considering the moist weather they are doing a great job. Views from the compound
It's a beautiful homestay. The owner is very cooperative. But the best part is the food which is absolutely fantastic and surpasses everything else. I've never had such amazing authentic South Indian food anywhere else.
Didn't expect much when I did the booking but the rooms were spacious and clean. The view of the falls from the room was amazing. The staff are gracious. The restaurant is small and food varieties are less but for the location it is more than enoughD
