My reflection of our Jodhpur to Jaisalmer round trip from 8.10.17 to 12.10.17 is a very pleasant and a unique new experience of this beautiful Thar desert of Rajasthan . This became possible only by the trustworthy , fuss free , professional approach , guidance , amicable and personal continuous care provided by the organiser Mr Chail Singh Rathore . I was totally unaware of as how to arrange a reliable service for our family trip as above at a very very short notice . Normally I would contact a local travel agent in Delhi but on this occasion I surfed the net . I came across a few cab packages but was impressed by the presentation of advertised package A by Rajputana cabs . As soon as I spoke to Mr C. A Rathore , I sensed full trust & belief in the information & guidance he gave me . He was very flexible at every stage & every day . Due to senior age of our group Mr Rathore took extra care to arrange sight seeing tours to suit our convenience every day . Driver Mangilal for this trip was also a gem of a person with good and safe driving skills in a professional manner . Car Innova was in a very good clean condition and comfortable . Both guides provided to us by Mr Rathore were excellent . Mr Seva Ram in Jaisalmer was very knowledgable & showed us the most important historical places in a very short time we had to our availability . We even enjoyed the puppet show organised by a dedicated retired teacher & well known historian Mr Sharma in Jaisalmer . Mr Deepak again a very knowledgeable guide in Jodhpur showed us the most important aspects of Jodhpur palace in 2 hours what we had left in our disposal on same late afternoon after having travelled from Jaisalmer on 11.10.17 . Mr Rathore also had recommended to visit Tanote Temple . Initially we were sceptical about our visit entirely due to distance & in opposite direction . Had we not visited this temple we would have definitely missed the history & beauty of this temple . Besides it we would have missed the stone factories & existence of Indira canal in a desert and gone home with previous impression that Jaisalmer was only a remote & deserted place . Highways are fantastic in Rajasthan & it was a pleasant surprise to see that Jaisalmer is well connected with these . I was very impressed to see toll Byepass routes too . All arrangements made for us by Mr Rathore as described above ass well as Desert Spring on first night were of superb standard. On highways more good quality service stations could be provided by the authorities. In end I on behalf of myself & my family would like to give a big thank you to Mr Rathore personally for making our trip a very memorable first ever road trip of this kind .
