I booked my Camel & Jeep Safari with Mr. Sumit from Jodhpur Camel Safari. I called at the last moment to plan this Safari and Mr. Sumit was very prompt in arranging a vehicle at the last minute. I had a memorable experience right from the hotel pickup till the final drop back to the hotel. The driver was punctual and disciplined. The journey to the Osian village is approximately 2 hours from the city. Upon arrival, we started our Camel Safari which lasted for 1.5 hours in the midst of the desert. The camel Safari was a pleasant and peaceful ride. The Camel Safari ended at the home of Mr. Kanhaa who was very accommodating and offered us tea. Just as we were approaching the time for sunset,our 4 x 4 arrived to pick us up. It was a roller coaster of a journey as the car made its way to the sunset point through the sand dunes of the desert. All thanks to the impeccable driving skills of our driver that we were able to enjoy the journey. We stayed at that point for sometime and got our pictures clicked by the local children over there who had very good photography skills. After spending sometime at that point, our jeep came back to pick us up and drop us back to our car to start our 2 hour drive back to the hotel. The whole package is quite reasonably priced and it is money well spent. I would like to thank Mr. Sumit to accept our request at the last minute. I recommend this travel company to anybody who has plans of visiting Jodhpur.

Enchanting Camel Safari... Very Memorable experience.We took the camel safari on full moon evening...so...we enjoyed both the warmth of the dusky last hour of sunset time during the onward ride and the soothing full moon light during the return. Mr. Tanji, a simple nice man who took care of our camel ride was courteous and made us feel at home through out the ride and at his house, which also offers homestay. We had authentic home cooked marwari cuisine at his home. Thanks to Mr. bablu, who drove us to the desert destination and mr. Tak, the trip coordinator.
