worst hospital i am admitted here for delivery since yesterday they not change bedsheet they not answering any questions you want a discharge they not give u discharge and all staff care about them hygiene wering gloves plastic sheet but they not care about patient hygiene staff also very rude talking koi privacy nahi hai they checking hiv patient but he not change plastic sheet. worst hospital i never seen in my life government hai to kuch bhi karega vaisa hisab hai idhar....I cannot refer anyone to this hospital....

Very topmost government hospital in Mumbai. It can be described as best government hospital of Maharashtra. This hospital is associated with government medical college. Very nice all faculties are available. All medical department are there. All medical department does excellent work skill in their medical subject. Big historical building houses jj hospital. Government has also expanded by extension buildings. In OPD Patients are treated at very nominal rates. Operations are also done in very nominal price. Almost free. For poor total free.

It's about the Yellow fever vaccination latest update 02/11/2023. Important points: - if above 60 years need a physical fitness certificate for vaccination. - Take yellow fever vaccination 10 days before any flight to epidemic country. - Not to take any vaccination at least 30 days before yellow fever vaccination. - If allergic to eggs can't take vaccination then. - Polio vaccination is also done on the same place together if needed were you are going (which is valid for 1 year). 1. Have a heavy breakfast before going to the vaccination centre. (Not just tea but a heavy breakfast). Reach to the Hospital at least around 8:45 AM from Monday to Friday. 2. Carry passport Xerox copy or original or a soft copy will also suffice. 3. After reaching Grant Medical College, J J Hospital in OPD building, 2 nd floor OPD 37(or 50) as building renovation is going on (both on 2 nd floor), there they will give you tokens. The important thing here is that only 40 vaccinations are given each day. 4. After you get tokens you have to go back down on the ground floor to 11 number Counter to make a case sheet made, where you need to give your adhaar card and Rs.20 after the case sheet is made go back to the 2nd floor same place. 5. After that the doctors ask you the details needed for the vaccination and help you fill the vaccination form. 6. They Vaccinate you if everything is checked out, and give you the vaccination certificate after 20 To 30 minutes of wait. The vaccination certificate is valid for a lifetime now.. Please do laminate the certificate and keep it safe. The certificate is yellow in colour. Hope this helps everyone out for future.

I had a really bad experience with the nurses of JJ Hospital, they do not listen to the family members of the patient and even if we ask for help respectfully they get aggressive and shout at the patient or the family members of the patient. I am very upset because of their behaviour, they are well educated but still they don't know what being humble and respectful is.

I can't say it's best hospital but yeah, i can say "JJ Hospital is one of the biggest Hospital in Mumbai". You can easily get here via local train/TMT bus/personal vehicle or OLA/Uber[costly], hospital is located in middle of Byculla and Sandhurst so if you planning to travel through train you can stop at any station, distance is same. Infrastructure is quite good but environment is little noisy [due to vehicles] You only have to pay 20Rs for Case paper and everything else is completely free except some tests like x-ray, CT scan etc If it's your first time in this hospital I'd recommend you do not come alone, it will be too difficult for one person to handle everything alone, and if you don't have a idea about Wards, OPD and other room location, please bring someone with you who had come here before or who have some idea about locations and everything, cause no one is going to help you here you have to find your answer by yourself, and it will take your whole day. One thing is really irritated me here which is, you have to wait for doctors couple of hours and sometimes atleast 4-5h, that's very frustrating!! But atleast they are very well experienced and educated. I pray you all get well soon.
