As a fan of Corbett it was a great place to visit. It was well maintained the bungalow kept in very good condition it has some items used by Jim, disappointed as the Guns were not there used by him. All in all very good place for nature lover and Jim fan... must watch.
Jim Corbett museum is the place to know the history of Mr. Edward James Corbett. Ticket price have been increased from 10 to 100. You will find lot of details about his family and his work experience
It was very informative and amazing. Especially Jungle night show and Jungle in Rain show. For parents who have 5+ Years kids, it is a must watch.
Jim Corbett, the famous administrator, civil servant, ex-military officer and famous hunter/naturalist built this cottage in 1922 and lived here many years along with his sister Maggie. Although Corbett left India in 1948 and moved to Kenya, the house (which he had sold) was later acquired by the Indian government and turned into a museum to the memory of Corbett and all that he did for the people of Kumaon, in particular. Entry fee is Rs 10 per Indian of age five years and above. A well-stocked souvenir shop just near the gate sells a range of Kumaoni products, including jams, juices, pickles, organic grains and other plant products, as well as wildlife-related souvenirs, such as t-shirts, camouflage jackets, hats, and so on. You can purchase litchi, cherries, Aloo bukhar from here. Good to go for....
Must visit to know history of Jim Corbett and buy souvenirs. Do not buy anything from outside as this museum have authentic souvenirs in best price.
Must visit place if you want to know the history of Mr. Edward James Corbett. Lot of details about his family history and work experience you can see. You can also enjoy frest litchi and mangoes from the farm
Garden and bungalow were well maintained and its a nice place for one to know about the history of the museum. Its a great place for kids to explore.
It's Jim Corbett's residence with pictures & portraits about his life and adventures. More captions could've been there for a better insight into the past. It's a well maintained and picturesque place. it's not a very expansive property probably that's why no eating joint or anything like that's inside but just For a ten rupee entry ticket, it's worth visiting as it's quite calm & serene.
