Jhokan Bagh - Park in Jhansi - Jhansi, India

Jhokan Bagh has an important history in itself. The British were killed here in the first war of 1857. After this, it was built by the British government in the memory of the British citizens. It is also called the Mutiny of 1857. The reason for this was that Jhansi Fort was occupied by the British at that time. After capturing the fort, the queen gave orders to leave the British elders, women and children to their camp. They left the fort, but due to some traitor, their dead bodies were found in Jhokan Bagh the next day.
