Very sacred Shiva temple located in West Midnapore. Every year one grand celebration Gajan is done here. Here you will find two old banyan trees which have made this place so calm and beautiful.

Jhareswar temple is situated just 3 kms away from Anandapur and 25 kms from Midnapore town. The road is pretty nice to go by 4 wheeler. The holy place is famous for the old temple history of maha Siva of more than 600-700 years, some localities said its more than that. The place is very neat and clean surrounded by old trees and big water body adjacent to the temple. Usually the temple operated time in between 9 to 12.30 pm, but it depends on the darshanrthi. You will get the place little busy during chaitra sankranti for the mela. I would recommend people to visit this place. Thanks.
