Bon restaurant avec un accueil chaleureux et un service impeccable. La decoration et l'ambiance sont agreables, les plats sont servis rapidement et les saveurs excellentes. Les prix ne sont pas des plus abordables mais la qualite est au rendez-vous. Une bonne adresse pour se faire plaisir, avec le choix entre la salle ou le roof top. Les boissons alcoolisees ne sont pas sur la carte mais sur demande.

Nous sommes venus avec mes parents et ma femme dans le restaurant de Jhankar Haveli, et c'etait vraiment vraiment super ! Le restaurant en bas est charmant et reposant, bien decore, et la cuisine etait vraiment excellente (vegetarien). Vous pouvez aussi manger en haut sur une terrasse qui donne sur le fort, mais on a prefere en bas. Mais le must de cet endroit, c'est quand meme le patron, parfaitement francophone, mais surtout tres drole et qui donne d'excellents conseils. Nous y sommes retournes plusieurs fois.

Nous avons dejeune au restaurant et franchement c'est une tuerie !! Le chef de salle est extremement sympathique et parle tres bien le francais ! Il nous a conseille beaucoup de choses pour decouvrir la ville.

I had to battle it out with myself if this hotel deserved a 2 star just out of sympathy but sadly it doesn't. It was a flat out 1 star experience!! First of all, do not get SCAMMED by the first picture they have added on Google. For someone who has little to no experience, it might seem like that is the Haveli you will stay in. The picture is actually a close up view of Mehrangad Fort and has nothing to do with this hotel. It's a CLICKBAIT. Secondly, go with the mindset of going in a super low budget lodge or a street hotel ( although the pricing can match a 4 star hotel). The concept of front desk is non-existent. They do not even have a landline to call someone. You have to take the number of the helper and call his cellphone to ask for any service or assistance. Its the last hotel you should pick if you have a family with older people as they have steep stairs that are constantly wet and slippery and there is no elevator. Lastly, if you are unfortunate enough to get the top floor room (112) they have newly constructed, be prepared to accept that you will not receive a wifi connection no matter how they play it. There is also a consistent smell from the sewer that flows into the bathroom and then to the bedroom. It almost smells like GUTTER and when it gets into your nose you cannot let it pass. The reason given to us was that it's a normal thing for a new hotel and we can open the windows ( thus inviting the mosquitos in). Also if you are thinking they have a nice bathtub note that the bathtub is too narrow to fit anyone who is not slim. Also good luck if you need to use bathtub with hot water as the water heater they have provided is basically meant for a small home and it will probably run out of its capacity well before you even fill 25% of the tub. The front desk or the counter guy will talk to you as if he is doing a favor to you by offering the upstairs room. The concept was good but the stay itself was below par and forgettable for me.

I stayed here one night. Spacious room, spacious bathroom, plenty of tables to set things down, balcony with partial fort view. Currently the hotel is building the rooms out. It appeared 3 or so rooms are operational. 1 had a large soaking bathtub. There was construction noise during the day but it wasn't too intrusive. The important part for me was quiet at night, and you will definitely get this right now in low season, low capacity. I do not factor the inconvenience of honking from the street or ants or low water pressure as these are probably at every hotel in the area, luxury ones too. Staff was extremely accommodating.

Super restaurant, super ambiance, on se croirait a la maison ! Le chef parle tres bien francais et nous a conseille sur des choses a faire pour decouvrir la ville

(a) Overview : Came across this hidden gem while strolling through the bye lanes of the majestic blue city. The approach was not that great with tiny lanes having dirty drains flowing through them. (b) Ambience : Seemed nice at the entry, the lighting was dim. The seating caught my attention, with something somewhat similar to bamboo utilised in making the seats. There are four floors and there is seating inside as well as outside. We however, chose to sit outside and eat. The walls are rock solid, it was slightly difficult climbing up to the roof top. It was however worth the climb, we witnessed the beautifully lit up Mehrangarh fort from the rooftop which was a site to treasure. (c) Food and Service : Pondered over ordering a vegetarian penny pasta, which was served steaming hot. The portion was generous for two of us who are both running enthusiasts , we relished the Penny pasta which had the optimum amount of cheese in it unlike the one i had savoured at Jaisalmer a few days back which was cumbersome to eat. (d) Service : Prompt, polite, the waitress was courteous to our order and explained in brief what a penny pasta is like.The manager too was polite and welcoming to us. (e) Recommendations : Would recommend during a visit to Jodhpur. Reasonable, does not pinch a hole in the pocket. It's ambience is lovely, the property is well looked after. A little contribution from our side to a bygone era. Compliments to the managerial team , chefs , waiters, housekeepers.
