I have visited hospital with my mother and have faced bed behave of doctor, they are not cared about general bed patient, not given instruction for use of essential medication which she used to have. Management is not good enough, without providing necessary service they only need money. They are not professional at all.
Doctors are not punctual. And the staff keep saying that the doctor is in the way. I am from Agartala, came long distance for checkup, the staff told me tht doctor will be available at 2 pm and told to come by 1.30. These good humans don't value people's time. They want only money and also have taken doctors visit fee in advance even before the consultation with the doctor. Is it worth waiting for a patient for 5 hours?
Disgusting
Admitted my patient in the hospital for 6 days in July'21.
The higher floors of the hospital are still under construction so only general wards are available for admission and NOT personal cabins. The general wards charge Rs 1750 per day, inclusive of 3 meals daily. No good facility available for the attendant of the patients to spend the night.
The nurses & staff are very kind and supportive.
The hospital as a whole is very clean and well maintained. However, the AC vents aren't activated so it's very hot inside.
Many doctors from various specialities can be consulted in the OPD of the hospital. Limited seating space is available for the OPD patients.
I have visited the hospital with my dad on 09/09/2023 as it was well known private hospitals in our area. My total experience was not good. There was lack of professionalism from everyone in hospital starting from front desk people. Doctor's were superlate and no-one has any idea about anything..They just care about doctor fee..If private hospital is treating people like this then I am not sure how people are managed in government hospital in silchar.
Canteen food and AC was good.
Always be mentally ready to wait for everything. You'll have to wait for your report they will tell you to collect your report tomorrow but you're not going to get that even after paying too much for their services plus long queues to see any doctor. Their tagline is affordable healthcare but everything is very expensive. They're not going to value your time, lack professionalism also.
My Son was born on 1/11/2023 at City maternity hospital... And at 4thNov23 due to some cause he started to face breathing problem as he was unable to breath Dr S.K Roy refferd him for Ventilation at JJIMS. At around 11'0 clock I took him to the hospital and he was admitted to ventilation as the baby was serious. The baby went into ventilation after an hour and half they called me and told the baby is no more... At around 12:45am... And the boy sitting at the receiptoins was so inexperienced that he took more than 2_1/2 hour to make place the bill...at around 3:30am he placed the bill. In between many emergency patients came but the faculty was very much irresponsible to it...Hey even told that "Jeta paro kori laio"...Even they take money of those medicines also which have not been used...They just know how to earn money but don't know how to provide service... The worst hospital in Barak Valley I have ever experienced in my life....
One of my aunt was admitted in that prestigious hospital, she was treated so well.. the doctors were very supportive . I specifically loved how doctor really took his precious time to explain my aunt's condition with our family members as well as the treatment options.
Looks like they only focused on the number of floors. It's very dirty, green heals is cleaner than JJIMS. They don't give receipt of doctors consultation charges and also accepts only cash. Can't believe this from a big hospital. Even a small clinic in Bangalore will give proper receipt. If you want to pay by upi in the pharmacy then you have to find a scanner at some other place, not a days even street food vendors keep scanners for upi. Shame!!
