The place depicts the life of Narsi Mehta / Narsi Bhagat. currently under renovation, nothing much tourism per se but if history, sainthood and devotion rings a bell you can pay a visit. On the upper deck can be found the museum where the life and stories are displayed.

Feel peace in the place, currently new building is in progress. Photo Galary is great and told every movement of poet shree Narsinh Maheta. No much rush of tourists, so place is very peaceful. Pujariji is knowledgeable, he guide about it. Video DVD of Bhajans and Biography of shree Narsinh Maheta is selling here. No photography allowed in it. This is one of the historical place in Junagadh.

Nirsih Mehta was a great devotee. He is a great example. So many things had happened to him which sound like miracle but it's real. Their is one small temple at the place where he used to leave. There is one lady at the temple who tell you the story about Narsi mehta which will bring tears to your eyes. They are making a auditorium for digital representation of him , but the work was going on.

Very sorry to see what was a sacared places turned into a concrete building with no consideration to a religious context. So sad they did this. I did find peace just by his images. Do visit find inspiration

This place is believed to be the place where the great devotee poet and Saint Narsinh Mehta (15th Century) had seen the paradise and dance (Raas) of Lord Krishna with Radha. Narsinh Mehta was a great spiritual poet of Nagar community. As he used to visit houses of untouchables (Harijans - as he called them) to sing his Bhajans, his community fellows put him out of community. It is said that he had real vision of Lord Shiva, who took him to Vainkunth and showed him Raas Leela of Lord Krishna and Radhaji. He used to visit Damodar Kund early in the morning singing his poems (Prabhatiya). The famous poem "Vaishnavjan To Tene Re Kahiye Je Pid Parayi Jane Re..." which was favourite Bhajan of Mahatma Gandhi was originally written by Narsinh Mehta.

Historical Bhajan Ground of Bhakta Kavi Narsinh Mehta, upper sitting surrounding a tree, popularly known as 'CHORO'. This place depicts the Life of Narsinh Mehta (Narsinh Bhagat). On the upper deck can be found the museum where the life and stories are displayed of Narsinh Mehta. There are some issue regarding PARKING. But Nice Place to see.
