A beautiful place for long riders...Forest is so near you touch it you can feel it and you cane enjoy it.to relax your eyes you must visit this place.near about 110km ride from chandannagar.Just loved it.
There are two sides Left and Right. Left is A historical forest belt. you get to see a British Old Aerodrome , where flights used to land in 1942. If you are lucky, you may get to see deers. Also, on the other side of the Joypur Forest, 4 wheelers not allowed.
Every time we visited this forest we really enjoy at all times... Very very peaceful place ,village area , no pollutions, fresh air , you can easily spend couple of days over here,... I visit lord of times over here day by days forest density getting lace forest department not so active if the maintain this forest, it will more helpful for our environment....
Good place for one day trip.
It was a good experience to ride on this forest which looks pretty awesome. There were boards alerting riders and drivers to drive/ride slow over there because of the elephant and deer sightings. We weren't lucky enough to come across any of them though. You must drive/ride through this forest to get the actual feel of this place.

A beautiful forest area towards bishnupur and opposite site is kotulpur. basically Sal and Teak tree are situated here.
It is a wonderful place to hang out with families or friends in the weekend. Just 3 to 4 hours drive from kolkata. The place has a state of the art ambience crafted for having the feel of a farm house. It's a fantastic experience.
