It is a very good place for walking and also lot of equipments to do physical exercises. Very calm place except metro rail keep moving regularly with a gap of 10 to 15 minutes interval. Rest room facility is there. Lots of tall trees and greenery plus long chairs made of wood and steel frames.
Lush greenery everywhere. Cleanly maintained Except for few gym equipments which needs to be repaired. Lots of mosquitoes due to continuous rain and bushes. Good for walking and jogging. 1 round of walk will be almost 750 mtrs and 1250+ steps. Though I had stopped going to this park for 2 years due to metro construction, now the constructions are completed, bbmp have renovated the path and maintaining cleanly, so enjoy the evening walks here.
Located in the heart of the city, right next to the Metro Line and between the Jayanagar and RV College stations, this Mini Forest is a green oasis amidst Concrete. Ideal for walking and exercising, this park has a perfectly levelled walking track, and a dedicated exercise area with basic equipment. It also has a children's play area. A 1 hour walk in the morning inside this mini forest would definitely set you up for the day.
Jayanagar is an affluent residential and commercial neighbourhood in the city of Bangalore in Karnataka, India. It is one of the zones of BBMP. It is sub-divided into seven wards. A 2010 survey by DNA Bangalore ranked Jayanagar as the most liveable place in Bangalore and still maintains the old charm of the city. In Kannada, Jayanagar splits into Jaya and nagar literally meaning Victory City. It is not definitively known why that is. One school of thought is that Jaya comes from Mysore's Maharaja Jayachamarajendra Wadiyar. This park is diagonally parallel to the metro station. Vehicles can be parked outside the park on the road. There are two entrances to this big park and one of it is just a gate for pedestrians the other entrance had a ramp for entry. There's plenty of seating all around the park for the users. The park used natural lighting during the day and it was well lit using the park lamps after 6pm. Railings are provided on all pathways. Dustbins are provided and the special part is this park is a no plastic zone! They have a workout area which is shaded. The open gym has good facilities. There is a fenced play area for children and has different kids equipments. This park is overall maintained very well and is a nice place to relax after a long day of work.
