JAYA MOURYA LODGE & BOARDING - Featured Reviews (141)
VERY BAD EXPERIENCE. VERY BAD ATTITUDE OF THE HOTEL STAFF, MANAGER- KIRAN AND EVEN OWNER. AVOID AT ANY COST. Dont stay even if they pay you to stay. Booked from online and paid, but they refused to give a room. I was left hanging at the middle of the night. The booking was noon refundable. Waste of money. Rooms are dirty, bed sheets were unwashed, pillows were dirty and had bad smell. None of the hotel staff follow any covid protocol. Staff were loud even in the night when people are trying to sleep. Bathrooms dirty, taps leaking, fans look like they haven't been cleaned in years. Hated the experience. The pics posted online don't tell the truth about the rooms. AVOID AT ANY COST!!!
The worst hotel we had ever booked. DON'T BOOK THIS. Very unclean n unsafe place to stay esp this corona period. Walls and floors are very dirt n wet, bedsheets were not washed, it was stinking. Room is very untidy. No Dustin, no proper mats to the bathroom. TV wasn't working No towels, soap will be given. The description shown in the OYO is not true. No hot water, they said in its not working from few months, raised complaint with owner but he is very irresponsible and not responding, not even paid salary, we are just managing and running this hotel. The amount was charged extra than it showed initially.
Had the worst parking ramp ever - save your car underbody and leave it outside even though it's a small narrow street. The place was not in an obvious location but it can be found without much difficulty. The place is newly built and still under construction. Rooms and bathrooms were a little small. They were neat and clean. Staff were courteous. Limited supply of hot water - keep your showers quick.
One star for the location and One star for the price. We booked the room through OYO app and hence got an AC double room near Belur temple at Rs. 425, part of a special offer. That was the only good part. Other than that everything was bad service. Running Hot water for bath was promised but after repeated reminders, we got it after half an hour. By the time one person finished bathing they switched off the hot water. Again after repeated reminders it was switched on again after 30 more minutes wait. Dinner was delivered 1 hour after the order was placed and the delivered dinner was not what we had ordered for. When pointed out they promised to cater what was ordered but again they got it wrong. Breakfast also we faced the same problem
Booked through OYO. One of the worst lodging experiences I have ever had. I doubt I would ever use the services of OYO again. We reached the hotel at 11:15 with the intention to rest after which we had travel for 6-8 hours more. It took around 45 minutes to just check in at the reception even after we had a prior booking of 3 rooms there. There was just one guy at the reception who vanished around 5 minutes after we entered our rooms. For the next 2 hours till we went out, we had nobody to report our problems to. So, the problems we faced were - No fresh towels provided in any of the three rooms. The guy at the reception provided us with a Used towel and thats it. - Toilets for 2 of the rooms were not cleaned with tufts of hair still left in the drain and in the sop case. - Bed sheets and pillow covers were not cleaned for one room with smelly pillow covers having visible stain spots on both. - NO POWER BACKUP provided for anything other than a single small light. We had power for barely 15 minutes in the 2-3 hours we stayed. Even the fans were not working, much less the WiFi. So we contacted OYO support who proceeded to stall us by disconnecting our calls or putting them on hold for 15-20 minutes for half a day. We finally got a call from a support executive who offered to move us to another hotel, to which we agreed and 30 minuted later another call from support to inform us that the power backup is working now so they wont be able to move us. As such, we got back into another round of conversations with the support team which lasted from 8-11 pm. We had to report the issues again and again to support executives which kept disconnecting our calls to *get in touch with the hotel staff*. FINALLY, after this ordeal of 6 hours in a booking for 24 hours, OYO decided to provide us with a token of apology in terms of a small compensation and A PROMISE that hot water will be available the next morning. As expected, there was NO hot water the next morning, and OYO provided a generous refund of Rs3 to us as a *scincere apology*.
Had worst experience, I booked hotel through OYO and did online payment in advance. When I went with my family for check-in the receptionist said that they do not give rooms if we have done online payment. Very bas experience, they did not even suggest me what are my options, I simply came out and searched for other hotel even though they had vacant rooms. Finally took room in SUMUKHA residency. Then called OYO and got the refund luckily. I decided to not to book OYO hotel anymore and I would suggest you to skip JAYA MOURYA LODGE & BOARDING while booking hotel to have a better experience.
Place is not so clean, bathrooms are little dirty... They won't change the bed sheets and pillow covers... Cleanliness is not maintained anywhere inside the rooms..
Bedsheets & pillow cover are dirty with stain. Damaged sofa.
Am a male solo traveler. Stayed in single bed room, good as per price. Perfect for 1 day trip to Belur & Halebidu. Very near to KSRTC bus stand & the temple. No towel or soap.

Absolutely stunning architecture, no doubt it's a UNESCO heritage site. The details in those carvings will blow your mind and make you wonder how they did it 1000 years ago. It's a piece of architectural marvel. Don't miss it if you are around.
I had an amazing stay at Sunshine's. The place is right next to city center. You can walk to all points of interest in Belur. The facilities were also good and the room was clean. I would highly recommend this as your stay if you're planning to visi
