Jay Swadist Gujarati Thali (East) - Gujarati restaurant in Chikhli - Navsari, India

Authentic Gujarati thali prepared in a homely manner, that is Jay Swadist for me. Located on the NH & easily locatable. Dishes are not spicy or made from readymade gravy etc and didnt feel heavy after having the food. Roti at its softest form, sabji was tasty and dal (sweety) was all good. Only the rice was a bit sticky but manageable. I found their system of offering extra dishes as per one's requirement as a good way of dealing with customer needs which often vary largely. At Rs. 140/- with an extra sweet dish, can't ask for more. Would suggest everyone for sure

We visit this place 3-4 times in a year. Then once I forgot my thermas water bottle. I just called on their Customer care number. They found that and kept safe till I revisited their hotel. It's very friendly , best service feel of home, As many words are less to explore their value, As worthy things are valuable.

Reallllllllly goooood foooood. perfect place for highway travelling. Direct access to high from parking. Only 2 thali choice so the food is made with no compromise.Service is extremely fast.food is Gujarati and satisfies stomach.

The food was OK. We had Gujarati thali. Unfortunately it has Baigan and Dana sabji which I don't like. It's minimalist, two vegetables, dal, rice, achar, papad, chhas and roti. Taste was OK. Not like Kathiawadi but slightly on sweeter side. It costed 120/- per head.

Overall taste was OK. We ordered Gujarati thali. The taste was slightly on sweeter side. Unfortunately, one of the sabji was bringle and Dana which I personally don't like. Overall it was OK experience. Unlimited thali available at 120/-

If you are looking for home made food without nonsense drama then this is the right place. Just sit on the table and your food will be there in a minute. This the oldest thali joint and serving the same quality from years. Just have the food and continue your work that's it..

This is restaurant situated on Surat Bombay highway at Chikhli just opposite to Jay hind hotel . Owner name is Jayeshbhai Lad , he is very much polite & humble and he himself be present here all the time. Food is very good in test & quality. Staff is also excellent & very humble.The good part is they offer 3 in 1 thali as combo pack @180Rs . If you don't waste the food they give 30/- Rs discount. Specially Gujarati Dal is very testy. I strongly recommend everyone to test the same here and if you don't like it then they wouldn't charge you single penny also.
