Jawhar Hill Station - Featured Reviews (798)
One of the least populated and offbeat hill station of Maharashtra. Has got some historical footprints aswell also here you can find few untouched waterfalls. One of the waterfalls I had visited was Dhabosa waterfall which is not that lesser known or untouched now, you can expect decent crowd at the spot.
My Hometown Jawhar - The City of Waterfalls. Many Good Spots to visit, rainy season or winter is best for touring.
It was nice experience to go there. Simple and nice environment. Visited nearby spots and shops. Nice to visit there. Not much known but simple and away from crowd.
Jawhar is a beautiful city in Palghar. Folks coming from Mumbai can take the right towards Manor. The way to this place is lush green its a treat to your eyes and you will most definitely stop to soak in the sights. The route also covers a forest area, so roll your windows down and take a breath of fresh air. The roads are winding and if you are visiting right after monsoon, you will see waterfalls on the side of road. Thrilled? Wells, there's more. As you go towards Dabhosa waterfalls, you will find a mini-Switzerland- full of rolling green hills, streams and grazing cattle. Such a thing of beauty! And then you come to Dabhosa waterfall. You can hear the rush of water falling and the sheer force creates a white cloud of water just where it falls. Do not venture into the waterfall. It is dangerous! Sometimes beauty is deceptive. Nevertheless, enjoy the scenic beauty.
Best time to visit is monsoon.. private vehicle is must..

Jawhar is a monsoon heaven. Located just 55km from Mumbai-Ahemdabad highway this Taluka of Palghar is residence of indigenous tribal population. Full of nature, greenery, lakes, and wonderful people. Make a trip and it is unforgettable.
What a mesmerising and peaceful place to visit. Roads are not so good, be prepared for slight off-road driving. Recommended time of visit is in the monsoon season. Be prepared with all the rain gears and stuff if you're on a bike. The locals will pro
One of the offbeat locations for enjoying the summer heat in waterfalls. The water keeps flowing all 12 months but if you want to reach these waterfalls, you have to hike all the way to it. Gives you a good adrenaline rush and sense of excitement and
