Children park, every evening light and sound program, no entry fee. Near Jesop gate
Used be a really good place. Lately the attitude of the people visiting here have changed to some extent. While people using the lanes for walking have increased, so have the people using the place for for smoking all sorts of things. And since the effort to build that weird thing at the middle of the pond and the waste disposal area on the sides, the water quality has dropped drastically. I wish this place becomes better. It surely has the potential.

It's a good place to hang around with your friends or family, for a short period of time. There are seats available but it gets crowded very quickly. On Sundays or Saturdays it's hard to find a place to sit. There is a small area where you can exercise. There are no proper shaded area. If it rains suddenly then you are out of luck. The area around the lake is dirty. It's rarely cleaned. The fountain used to work earlier but now it does not work. Same music plays over and over again. Overall it's good enough place to spend 30 minutes to 1 hour but after that it tends to get boring.
Edit:- The fountain has now been fixed. In the evening one can watch the colorful water dance. Occasionally cartoons like Gopal bhar, Tom and Jerry and animated movies are played and it is quite enjoyable.
The park is recreated & renovated an year ago. It has been decorated nicely. It's located beside Dhopa Pukur. In the evening light & sound show takes place with the help of a fountain. The atmosphere is fairly good. It has become a famous destination for the local kids. The sitting arrangement is also good with unique 'Tabla' shaped seats. All credit goes to the local municipality or administration for developing such a good park.
Now this place is great place for fun family and other situation.....great
This place has changed a lot. Very good place to sit and relax. For kids. Young lads ladies and also for old people. Very nice place. Light show is very good. Must visit in evening.
being the only children's park in this area, people have very options and it is mostly crowded. but truth be told, it is not at all maintained well. there are couple of areas designated for adults as well, mainly having certain gym equipments
