I would suggest you go for Gandhi minar from which you can easily go to the dyke for the scenic side view. For beautiful pictures either go there early morning or evening before sunset.

Views from here is just awesome. Better than Gandhi Minar. Visit during evening, 1 hour before sunset for best views.

Waooo. Very beautiful scenery you will get at the top of the Minar. You can enjoy the view of whole Hirakud Dam. Here one greenery park is there, you can go and enjoy with your friends and family members with kids. Ticket price for entering to this Minar and park ia very less. You can do your photoshoot also. Further you can visit to the Hirakud Dam left dyke, which is also a very beautiful place to visit and enjoying the natural and beautiful scenery.

It is a unique place related to world longest dam and Indian histroy it is nice and peace place the ticket is only of 5 rupees .you can come with family , friends and beloved one you can enjoy some photo shoot destination and refreshment shops and beautiful garden .I really advice you to visit it once.
