On my recent visit to India on somebody's recommendation went to Jatoli Shiv Mandir. It was a wow experience. Temple is very beautiful. They have ample parking. Photography is not allowed in the temple premises. But they have a separate roof top specially for Photography. It is a scenic route. Cars can be stopped for various scenic spots.
Beautiful temple. Awesome place and looks quite stunning. The temple is just magnificent. It is a must visit place for every one who goes to Solan/ Simla/ Kasauli etc. Spend some time to soak in the beauty and spiritual aura of the place. Absolutely amazing experience.
Beautiful, outstanding temple. But no arrangement for shoes. No proper shop for tea snacks. All people are visiting this temple from far away places.
Here, there is a temple of Lord Shiva, and every Sunday, you can get a free meal (prasad) called 'bandara.' If you want to visit here, you can take a bus from Shoolini University, which is only half an hour away.
Peaceful place with mesmerizing view and Aura of this divine place makes your soul relax.
B-E-A-utiful Hindu temple overlooking massive green valleys So much ornate detail on every wall it's almost staggering y'all Reeeeally enjoyed the afternoon here and made some new friends while having a bite to eat
The temple is made in typical Southern-Dravidian style architecture and it's height is about 111 feet. It has three consecutive pyramids. The highest pyramid is called Shikhar, second highest pyramid is called Vimana, and the third one which has the least height is called Trishul. On the northeast corner of the temple, there is a water tank called 'Jal Kund' which is considered as pious as the holy river Ganga. The origin of the water is unknown and the water of this tank is said to have some medicinal qualities that can treat skin diseases. It is suggested that one should carry an empty bottle with them if they want to take this holy water home. 1. Fill your bottle up to the brim from the kund. 2. Do not place the cap until you have the priest put Holy Ash (bhabhut) in it. 3. Take it to the cave to Guru Ji's charan paduka. 4. After touching the bottle to charan paduka, screw on the cap. 5. It is also instructed that you should never place the bottle on the ground, thereafter. This ancient temple is also famous for its annual fair, which is conducted during the festival of Mahashivratri.
This is a great place for wandering and devotees of Shiva. The view here is also wonderful.
