Jarman Dhaba - Dhaba in Bolpur, Surul - Birbhum, India

Food is Ok here. I started visiting this place 20 years ago. One thing for sure food quality has degraded since then. But if you are visiting this place with family then it is fine. They have arrangements to sit outside and inside. The area is well lit. They close it by midnight. If you are visiting this place for the first time, you can try "machh chur". We love it.

Food was superb.. But they don't maintain hygiene.. The tables are dirty, and the area is also full of plastic, used chips packets etc.. Please clean your dhaba that will definitely make ur dhaba more popular.....we ordered roti, egg tarka and chicken kosha .. for the food...

It still remain open till 11pm so if you are hungry at night you can go there. I like their new look, they opened a stall to make pakora, roll etc. But this place didn't seems to be gentle for family or ladies. . We had Chicken Pakoda and Roti with Chicken Chur. It was very tasty. However, roti was made by maida that was not aata roti. Chicken Chur is like chicken bharta. 2pcs of chicken crushed in a rich flavourful tomato gravy. . Amazing pocket-friendly dhaba in sriniketan. Feels a bit unsafe for girls after 9:30 PM as lots of highway vehicle drivers park there to have dinner and gives drunk gaze. Authority and staffs are very helpful though.

You can call it a crazy place. Location near Sriniketan in Bolpur town, WB, India. Many bengali flim has been suited here specially fighting scene. Very economic but good DHABA with outdoor facilities. Favourite place for students and young couple. No hard drinks are available or permitted here.
