We stayed there for couple of nights and must say its value fir money. We really enjoyed stay and the morning breakfast! Rooms were clean although it's not at beach front but close to beach. Owner was very helpful. One must keep in mind it's shared property and other rooms might be occupied by other guests unless you have taken all the rooms and have big group.
Pros- 1. very pleasent quiet clean location green surroundings 5min walkable from murud beach. Lot of car parking space inside/outside 2. very clean rooms, beds, toilets, plenty of water also hot water 3. good hospitality and information about local siteseeing 4. availablity of good food at reasonable rate on prior order. (somethings missing not too much bothersome but still to keep in mind - Nonavailable AC/TV/Indian toilet, only attached common bathroom wc, not continuous functioning restaurent, no sea view)
We recently stayed in Janki villa and had a very good experience..The host Vivek ji is humble and made us feel like home.. Location wise it is very near to beach and villa is surrounded by coconut trees.will definitely visit this place next time
Good BnB home stay.. private, spacious, close to the beach and surrounded with lush green trees. Quiet am economical stay of ur visiting for a day excursions. We had chai with pakoras on extra pay basis.. Shall visit soon.
It is the best place for a family vacation. The food is great and just 5mins away from the beach. Location is serene and very green.
We opted for room at second floor. The entry door to terrace was kinda old and broken. It should have been replaced or fixed properly. Also wash basin in the bathroom is very very small. I wish there was a normal size (not big) basin so that brushing and face wash etc become easy. The mirror im in the room was also small and you can't see full view if you are getting ready. Location wise and tariff wise this is a good place. Host also served breakfast if required. So those things are fine. If you are visiting on a off season day, you can also get discount in room tariff/rent. I would suggest to fix those little things so that as a traveller we get a better and safer feeling.
The villa is really nice. Rooms are really spacious and well served. The host is very friendly and provides amazing services. The food is also amazing. Better than other recommended places, the food at the villa is way better. Don't forget to say hi to coco the puppy when you go there.
If you are planning to be in Murud Janjira and looking for a decent budget homely stay, don't look further but just go for 'Janki Villa'. We 3 families stayed here for one night. It's a typical homestay like a guest house (independent bungalow). Wonderful place to stay - very calm and quite where you wake up to calmness and birds chirping. Rooms are neat and clean. Quite reasonable and the owner is also very kind and polite. The villa is very nearby to beach - say 5 min walkable distance. Food is tasty and but little expensive like every coastal area. Overall satisfied and recommended for families.

One of the old temples in murud janjira...3 minutes walking distance from murud beach.. this place is near the police Station... koteswari mata is a gramdevata of murud janjira.. the temple is very attractive...this place is very peaceful..
Went with family (13 members) for 2 nights. Hardly a minute walk to beach from hotel. Restaurants are also nearby. Staff is very helpful and we all loved our staycation in Sawali Niwas.
The food quality is amazing and price to quantity ratio is perfect. The location on the map is not accurate hence you need to ask around to get there.. If you are planning to visit Murud Janjira fort, you can stop here for lunch..
Very nice place to visit and stay. The atmosphere in Mamachi wadi is very cool due to so many baanana tress and betel trees. We all enjoyed, also this place is good for photo shoot. Mama, we are coming again.
The beach is Great and not so deep. Calm sea with lots of water activities starting from Rs300 to Rs600 per person. But the beach is full of wet sand and you cannot find any dry sand patch, so no point in bringing sand toys for kids. A dolphin watchi
