Worst biryani in kothrud ! Stale and used onions being served .. the onions were already coated with chutney or pickle used by some other customers.. Raw chicken and the gravy served with chicken biryani was a fish curry! Found a piece of fish too in the curry .. pungent smell from biryani.

One of the best place for seafood. Price are bit expensive but it's worth for Money. Must try.

My experience with Janjira Seafood Restaurant, Kothrud, was amazing, to state the least ! Initially, I spoke to Sanjay Naik from their Navipeth branch, who was courteous and nice to explain me things and immediately sent the necessary links and website addresses of Janjira. However, I saw that their Kothrud branch was quite near to our place of stay and hence, we landed there with family. Got a car parking and was greeted by a courteous and well mannered staff, who made us feel comfortable with their smiles and service. We ordered their famous sea food thali and were literally left smacking our lips on the preparation, variety, freshness, taste and presentation of the various types of seafood. Jaise kehte hain na ki, "Pet bhar gaya lekin muh nahi"! Was an absolute delight to savour the food on the table and we all left the place with delightful memories. Keep it up, Janjira team! We shall be back!!

Another place for some good, tummy satisfying seafood experience. They are running an amazing seafood festival that includes seafood buffet starting from just Rs 700 with many options to choose from. On our visit we tried below things from their a la cart- *Bombil Koliwada, a deep fried starter, paradise for bombil lovers. Fish was fresh and well cooked. *Surmai Fry, a surmai steak marinated in red medium spicy masala and tawa fried. Not oily and simply yummy. *Lemon Coriander Prawns Soup, a soul satiating, tangy, mildly spicy soup is a perfect way to start your meal. In mains : *Malvani Fish Curry, coconut based curry was smooth, rich and not very spicy. As rice bhakari wasn't available for lunch we coupled it with Naan and rice. It tasted absolutely tasty with both but went very well with the rice. Along, that we were served with tempting sukat chutney and refreshing Solkadhi which elevated the overall meal. Waiting to try their buffet now!

Super slow service (when the restaurant was not at all crowded) only to serve Veg Maratha made in Chinese sauce. The quantity of full butter chicken was less than usual and so is the quality. Won't talk on the biryanis since the last review has covered it already.

Simply amazing. Being a huge place I thought this place would cost a lot. On the contrary, the prices are totally reasonable and the quality of food is equally great. Service was really good. We ordered Punjabi mainly and the food was very well cooked and tasted good. Large variety of food available to choose from. I definitely recommend this place for veg lovers.

Earlier this place pure vegetarian place but now it is seafood restaurant with bar. Its owned by same guys who own popular nisarg seafood and it has another sister Restaurant in navi Peth. we went for the dinner and seated in upper floor. Despite being weekday service was slow we ordered 1.chicken monchow soup - nothing great just the way it should be 2.Garlic Butter prawns - I expected it to be on the level of nisarg but it wasnt anywhere close. small prawns with some sweet sauce ar keast. they were cooked properly. 3. chicken tandoori and angara kebab - both chicken dishes were great. perfectly spiced and cooked. 4.surmai masala - did not eat but my friend liked it 5 chicken dum biryani - bit oily but was good For drinks they gave ridiculous looking glasses citing license issues ambience 4/5 Food 4/5 Service 1/5 VFM 4/5 overall 4/5

If you love the seafood then the Hotel Janjira is the best. I tried the Surmai thali, pomfret thali, khekda thali. The dishes are delicious. Must try.
