Jangamwadi Math Yatri Nivas - Hotel in Rameswaram - Ramanathapuram, India

Alert!!!! Don't book this property. 1. Worst staff behaviour on the counter. 2. No bathroom soap provided in rooms. Excuse given by the manager: "This is a trust property, they don't allow soap in their hotel". Against rent of Rs. 900 a soap of Rs. 5 is not affordable by the Trust. 3. The mattresses are of very very low quality (spring mattress). Back pain will occur. 4. Dirty bedsheets are provided by hotel staff. 5. Garbages not cleaned behind and below the bed.

Gave two star bcoz it's near to temple, Firstly no reception staff at the time of checkin. There was porter then he said receptionist is out so he speak with him n gave me room which was just beside reception i asked him to change bcoz of noise he said receptionist will come n change which they not done saying that rooms r full n i saw many room where locked n empty bcoz another walk in guest come in front of me he showed to room to them but when i paid 600 rs for upgrading room they quickly change.Also i asked for late checkout just for 2hrs extension that also he denied. anyways just want to say reception person not good n helpful n rooms are small n not clean at all.

Very good experience...we stayed today..this Nivas was very close to Rameshwaram temple...we were easily walking around the temple... very good place to stay.. highly recommended...we enjoyed our time due to the closeness of our room to the temple..

Worst hotel in Rameshwaram, Big Garbage mountain you will see once you open your room door. Blankets and pillow are never cleaned and its full dirty ,contains lots of patches of mud on it. Ac is full dirty and it's not working at all ,if you switch on AC you will get Garbage smell. Room is smaller then any small size kitchen ,You can't even walk in room. Comdorad and washbasin is full of guta and mud stains . In one word I will say it's complete Garbage hotel . Don't waste your money and time here.

Worst rooms in this hotel. They do cheating by taking more money for charge of AC rooms and none of the AC rooms not working and compared to this AC in our house air cooler is better. They do lie as total area power issue and that is why low power and ACs not working and have generator, rest others not having power backup bla bla. These are all trash and do not prefer this when you visit. Only staff behaviour some what better. Never pay money without checking room condition properly.

I stayed there for one day(28 Dec - 29 Dec). Pros: It is very close to the main temple like walkable. There are lot of options for food nearby Cons: Price was too high for one night. No toiletries. Not much space for parking so you have to provide your Car key to the staff. Hygiene is something they can improve.

I booked this accomodation for 2 days from 27 December to 29 December .ProsGood things about this accomodation is it is very near to Rameshwaram Temple West gate some what around 300 meters.cost was too high for the rooms.Cons1) Cost was too high for this type of accomodation i had to pay more than for 2 nights for 2 ac rooms2) Parking is pretty cosy basically only 4 cars you can park here and to move 1 car out of the parking .you may need to disturb all the other cars.3) Toilet door was malfunction in one room. There is non hot water geyser for shower. you need to ask hotel staff to bring you hot water in the bucket4) In one room AC remote was not working As I was not able to set temprature. I asked them to change the remote and give me another remote. The staff told me that remotes are in locker and manager left for the day and I he is not picking the phone

The rooms were old enough and bit small, the price was ok in that case. The proximity to the temple was an advantage.
