This is a perimeter institution complex of education established during mid-20th century at a small room at Edavanna. Now it has sprawled to such a vast campus with multiple institutions functioning, all recently magnified by the newly established Administrative Block. The institution situates quite adjacent to the road with a huge portion of the frontage facing it. Now the institution, along with the Jamia Nadwiyya Sharia College, Jamia Nadwiyya College for Women, Jamia Nadwiyya Arts & Science College, Hifz Institute and Higher Secondary (or Senior Secondary) school, have produced a great legacy of inculcated values, disseminated knowledge and historically promoted women education. The deemd-to-be University belongs to Salafis of Kerala.
