James Ettande Thattu kada - Fast food restaurant in Nedumbassery - Ernakulam, India

It's a little place on the side of the airport road. I had reached quite late, at around 9.30PM and all he had left was kappa (tapioca) and pork. Loved it, and even the side of diced onions was wonderful. Definitely coming here another time, hopefully before 8PM to try out the other dishes.

It was a wonderful experience . But unlucky me couldn't get kappa as it was over by the time I went there. But could taste the pork and Porotta with 2 bullseye. Was so good. I went there cycling from kakkand and it was worth. Must try. But please go atleast by 5 PM.

It is a small shop with limited space for dine-in. Kappa- beef, kappa- pork mixed with steel glass is special. Kappa- pork cost 110 rs per plate and the meat was super good compared to all other places from where i had pork, definetely mentioning " angamaly pork". Quantity and quality was very satisfying. No tea coffee is available here. 2 side paddy field and nearby a toddy shop( but no disturbance from there, family feel free to visit). Good ambience of evening sunset and if its rainy day, too good. No separate parking area, shop is in a S shape road side and space for parking is on both side of road. No toilet facility will be available. It's purely a thattukada. Those who are evening foodies go and try it.

Jamesettan's thattukada is small eatery serving lip smacking dishes like kappa-beef, kappa-pork, kappa-potti, and kappa-egg. It's located at Nayathodu closer to the Kochi airport. Tasted the kappa-pork and kappa-beef dishes and it was way too good. Both plates cost Rs. 100 each.

One of the best Kappa - Pork mix, everything he mixes in that wok is super good. And the location add extra punch, perfect place for small grp chitchats.

Food was ok. Nice atmosphere. The shop is situated near fileds and a toddy shop.

It's a normal thattukada and food is average .there is a small parking only for 2-3 car in the road side .food is average and quantity is also average

Took me back to a childhood taste bud. Had a different feel and experience. I think he uses only pure coconut oil. Had a verity taste quite different from all the others. Even though seating is a bit difficult. Suggested for younhsters and singtravellers... For family i would say you have to eat in your car. Very close to the road.. means too close which is a bit awkward. But still the taste is amazing.
