This sanctuary become heaven in mansoon. In rainy season surrounded by clouds, dense green, aur many small streams and waterfall. A perfect place for ride and fun. I explored entire area by drive. Road are good. It have one hanuman temple also. If lucky you can glance some wild animals like nilgais (blue bull), jackals, deer, sloth bears, and chausinghas (four-horned antelope) and leopards
It's a beautiful place to visit. It has lots of greenery and waterfalls. It's a perfect place for hiking and taking photos. I will definitely recommend this beautiful place.
We called it "Jungle Safari" Nothing much, just a small trekking pathway. Enjoy with your friends. Type of picnic spot, bring some food and enjoy the nature. Animals can be seen at night. Have a safe journey!
Nice place for wildlife enthusiast and has a nice forest with many wild animals and birds. Great greenery and has many waterfalls which are active during rains.
A nice weekend gateway from Ahmedabad & Vadodara in monsoon. Book a stay in advance & enjoy the forest life. No mobile network zone & I love it. You may get electricity issues like me because they do not have any power backup. Goverment should provide a DG or something like that to increase the tourism in this sanctury.
Looking for nice weekend getaway into Wild or in nature near Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Gandhinagar - Jambughoda is a place for you. We visited Jambughoda before summers in February. Best season to visit - Rainy season- As due to Rain all Jungle and wild terrine turns into Lush green landscape, Winter is also good season to visit. Distance- From Ahmedabad - 170 Kms, Vadodara - 70 Kms. Route - Ahmedabad - Vadodara - Pavagadh - Jambughoda (Take route of BODELI town) Places of Interest - Jhambughoda Wild Life sanctuary Zand Hanuman - Temple of God Hanuman with some interesting surroundings of old heritage style small idols of god and broken structures of temples. Kara dam - Natural lake surrounded by small hills where you can even do small trekking - Beware , This is Sanctuary with Black bear and Leopards so before going on trekking speak to locals or authorities then decide. Food - On the way to Jambughoda town , on state highway many small restaurants are there where you can have food. Best if you find local road side small Stalls of Native adivasi people, On Request they also prepare authentic Adivasi food like Makke ki roti and as per season vegetable sabji.
Just a dam view and screening place. It has many entrance. Good for bikers who can be reach here for morning rides. Don't just follow Google maps. Get routes from local people. Signal is so well near this region.
