A great place to get a quick escape from mundane and busy city life around the Aravalli mountain range. Wannabe eco tourists could begin from this. There's amenity of tent houses and cottage. There's also a store selling honey and ayurvedic herbs however the fact that there are no food stalls or restaurants in and around the campus as it helps to maintain the cleanliness and "the nature" element by keeping it in its own form. Meaning, you shall bring your own food but please maintain the beauty of the place!
Just ok kind of place. They charge 400 rupees for car entry which is not justified. It's a loot. No wildlife, only few birds. They have 3 gates but website does not describe them, very confusing. Not worth money they ask for having a look at a dam.
1) Jambughoda Wildlife Sanctuary is 70 km from Vadodara and very good places to spent half day. 2) Place attraction - Lush green forest & calm atmosphere, hilly area around lake (Kada dam). 3) Nearer attraction from this place:- Jand Hanuman Temple. Vanachal Resort etc.... 4) Food:- You can take your home made lunch from there. 5) Petrol Pump:- Available, at least 2 to 3 km away from its. 6) Photo aspect:- You can take best picture from there. 7) Kids activities:- swings and slider are there. 8) Road condition:- Good from Vadodara to Halol to Shivrajpura to Jambughoda 9) How to plan one day visit there? 9.1 reach Jambughoda at 08:30 am and see all the places till 12 PM i.e Dhanpuri area, Kada dam site. 9.2 Take home made lunch there. 9.3 and then go to Jhand Hanuman Temple and spend 1 :30 hr. 9.4 and then go to Vanachal Resort, it is exactly opposite to Jambughoda Wildlife Sanctuary, visit to Vanachal Resort and take photograph and spend 0:30 hr there. 9.5 and then go to Bhat Wild life Sanctuary, which is placed before Shivrajpura. 9.6 and then go to Virasat Van, Dhaba Dungri which is situated near Pavagadh area and then come back to Vadodara.
Best for secenery photography. Worth a visit, good trekking and guide services available. Dhanpuri camp nearby is also very good a cheap eco-trip
Good place for one day visit overnight stay, Very good and well maintained eco tourism complex.Lot of greenery and true value for nature lovers and those who want a peace and relaxing a mind. Cottages and rooms are well maintained.
Awesome wildlife experience just 1 and half hour of ride from Vadodara. Good facility by forest department for accommodation and food
Disappointed. Nothing exciting found here. For day tour very minimal things to enjoy, if you want to stay then tents are available.
One time visit place. They charge 400 rs separately to enter into premises. Tent House and everything okay..not that much clean but its fine to stay. Food is okay okay. There is a zeel near to tent House is a good place to visit. If you have time visit on weekdays which is correct price. Weekend prices are more than double which is not worth to pay. A good place for family night stay.
