Jamalapuram Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple - Hindu temple in Jamalapuram - Khammam, India

This is the temple of lord Venkateswara swamy situated on the hill top. It's one of the oldest constructions. You can see it from the walls there. There is a koneru ( lake ) too. The temple idol is a replica of the TTD temple at tirumala. It's a must visit temple if you want to get some peace of mind.

Very devotional place. Prefer Own vehicle. Roads are very narrow single road around 15 kms. Road side crops and trees are very greenful.

This temple is situated in jamalapuram around 7km from errupalem railway station. You can bus and auto to go there. I had gone there with my family. This places is crowded on tuesday or saturday and all other days are really free. This is Balaji Venkateswara Swami temple.

I visited on Dasara day, and they celebrated Jammi puja very well and quite. Public attended peacefully without any "Hadavidi." Prasadam is also very tasty

"Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple", located at Jamalapuram in khammam District of Telangana. The presiding deity is Lord Venkateswara in Swayambhu Form (Self-manifested) on the Stone Form. Temple Premises also has other shrines of Goddess Padmavathi, Alimelu Manga, Shiva, Vinayaka, and Anjaneya Swamy. A very beautiful temple located in a Pollution free area surrounded by Hills and Lavish greenary. Temple is located adjacent to Andhra Pradesh Border, which attracts more devotees from AP region as well. Said that Temple was developed by Sri krishnadevaraya, vijayanagara ruler at his reign. This temple is also called "Telangana Chinna Tirupathi."

We went for our baby annaprasannam. Highly corrupted priests and labour. We brought ticket cost around 550 rs for annaprasannam. Priest at the end of Pooja directly demanded for additional amount much higher than ticket cost. We are suprised with priest behaviours. Surprisingly around 4 worked surrounded us and demanded money in the name of cleaning labour, priests advised us to pay amount to them also. We are shocked with the behaviours of priests, temple staff.

Very nice place for spiritual lovers.Atmosphere around the temple is so beautiful for nature lovers.Kalyanakatta(for hair removal) available here.Free food distribution available every day,from monday to friday for 100 members and om saturday and sunday for 200 members.Tickets for food is given inside the temple counter.Overall experience was good
