Jama Masjid Khambhat - Mosque in Khambhat - Anand, India

Visited Nov 2021. What can I really say about this place that hasn't already been mentioned here. Wonderful place, not too many visitors since Khambhat is a bit out of the way. You could easily spend 3 - 4 hours here, especially if you like photography. Best time for photography would be early morning. I was here at noon and some areas were too bright while others were dark. See attached pics. One thing I liked about this place was that it did not have the generic 'restored by the ASI' look (like many masjids in Abad).

Oldest Mosque in Khambhat. It was built in 1325 A.D. in the Sultan Age and Empire of Mohammed Tuglagh... Beautiful place and peaceful environment... This Mosque Cover under the ASI (Archeological Survey of India)... Must visit

Jama masjid khambhat is beautiful Islamic architecture . maintained by Muslim community.no entry tiket hear and opan to all.

A very beautiful masjid.. Historical place ..pillars ,carvings,stones.. Everything brings u in the gloriouse past of khambhat...

Marvellous place for visit.. It's a historical place or historical structure... Monument are good.. Best place for photography..

Good infrastructure... Even though it's a mosque tourists are allowed if they follow rules. Great designs on the interior of the domes and huge building.... The fact that it's centuries old makes it even more special, it hasn't been renovated since it's beginning I think except the few modifications made... All in all its a good place.
