great rooms and service. i really liked that they kept soap and shampoo dispensers and other items in the bathroom for use. the rooms were clean and well maintained. the restaurant downstairs was good as well. only problem is that the stay is a little outside the city but autos and cabs are available easily.
Although the setup is good however there was polish smell in the rooms and our eyes started watering. So we left the room to go for a walk, to air out the room with ac switched on After checking in, we accidentally found out that there was pest control done that morning and still we were given the rooms instead of informing us and turning us away. There was no sense of concern for customers health, very poor service to endanger someone else's life for the sake of 1 rooms occupancy. Food was good and restaurant staff was good.
Staff is quite unaware and don't know how to behave. I went with my family for dinner, first reaction of the waiter was as if we don't belong to such "luxurious place" he hand over the menu and took the order and after 20 minutes came back and said whatever you order cannot be prepared. When asked why he answered that there is a wedding reception going on and we have to order what others are having at wedding reception. Why even they have to offer menu card when they can't serve? Waiter behaved like he is in hurry to make us leave. Even manager did not took the matter seriously when complaint was made. That's quite unprofessional and great example of unawareness. They even didn't apologize and acted like it was not important. Wasted our quality time with family. Felt discriminated and humiliated.
Hotel Jalsa Retreat is a very nice and beautiful hotel in the City of lakes:Bhopal. Staff is very cooperative and kind. Also cleanliness in the hotel is very good. We are ready to stay at the hotel again in the future. Room is very good. all required facilities available inside room. Daining area also net and clean. Food quality is very good .Wifi facilities is available in hotel. I like this hotel. Good for staying.
