Jalmahal Resort and Spa - Resort hotel in Bugathagalli - Mysuru, India

Very nice resort in Mysore. It bypasses the Mysore city traffic and in the outer area. The resort has good indoor/outdoor activities. The swimming pool is clean and well built. Food is upto the mark and the dining experience is amazing. Complementary breakfast was nice as well. Rooms are decent with Bath -tub and Balcony (as per availability). Overall a nice value for money place.

We stayed here for 1 night. Lunch menu is vast and is served till 3:30pm. Breakfast options are limited but not bad. General upkeep of the property can be improved. There's a children activity area and a good pool. They have a toy car for kids but don't allow kids above 3yrs or 10kg which was a let down. There's a small fridge and complementary tea/coffee inside the room but no hand towels or hair dryer. AC and TV works fine...

Decent place for the price. The place is super green, rooms can be better. The service can be way better, had to call the reception and room keeping multiple times for the most basic things. Please avoid the spa at all cost. Spent good money to be in physical pain for an hour. Please hire professionals who actually know what they are doing. All in all, the resort is good but the staff definitely need an upgrade.

Service needs to be better. We went as a batch of 50+, families and single in combination. Basic necessities such as toiletry needed to be asked for. The restaurant ran short of plates and bowls every single time, and the waiters were too busy. A planned evening party programme had to close early as they wouldn't allow music after 10pm and their sound system was pathetic. All in all, the experience was disappointing to us , many who came from far off lands. Do your research well before if you're looking for a getaway for a party of sorts.

The location might be excellent, but the services are incredibly subpar. The food is merely average, and the manager's attitude is shockingly poor. Furthermore, the speaker quality was horrendous, and we weren't even allowed to play our music or enjoy karaoke. It felt as if we were attending a school hostel function, with the resort manager acting like the ultimate authority. This resort desperately requires a complete overhaul, starting with a radical change in the manager's demeanor and attitude.

The resort being very well located and decorated definitely needs an upgrade in staff. Please hire professional waiters and waitresses in the restaurant. The restaurant really needs to be looked out for as it is lacking attention and service which becomes negative from the guests point of view.

Food was pathetic and overly priced rooms.. would not recommend at all. Ambience is great and staff are very friendly and courteous but it was not worth the stay at all. Though they have mentioned the size of the rooms while booking, the reality is it is very cramped up for a resort. It is foolish to pay such huge amounts for such small spaces.. extremely disappointed..

The resort, food and ambiance were good. I have been provided room number 509. There wasn't any network in room nor the wifi was working. The resort is good but I have to ask 5times for dth recharge as that was a cricket match scheduled. Till they fixed TV, the match was almost over. A lot of improvement needed related to facilities and maintenance. I wasn't able to work which I was carrying.
