Very old mulicipality town. Very big market. Fruit market is very big. In here 'Lossi' is very famous. 'Biri Bora' also famous in this area. A small railway station also situated in this place , maximum number of train stop here. A hospital also available. A Jagarnath temple near the location. A Durga & Shiva temple also situated near railway station. Jaleswar is located West Bengal & Odisha border. Every type of goods store available here. A CBSC board English medium school available here.

The station is small in size. If your train coach is just behind the engine you have to go to the end of the station name board after that you can get your coach. There is no toilet facilities available for divayang and also for others. There is a pay and use toilet near to the panel room. Overall it deserves the rating of 3 star.

Clean place and surrounding area are open, at this station fruits also available and station vendors behavior is also good. The environment of this station is looking good, Here u over bridge also available you can go one platform to another platform. Crowds are also very less here. According to me this is a fantastic place with a green environment, cordless area.

Very worst experience. There is no train for Balasore today even staff need to behave same thing in proper manners . I don't know how Indian railways hire this kind of candidate. At station master look into this this situation when I reached out to information desk there is no single person to attend people queries

Border town of Odisha, hardly 3km away of WB border. Business centre. Known for paddy, fish and vegetables production. People of nearby potential growth centres like Bhogarai, Baliapal, Raibania, villages around Jaleswar including adjacent villages of West Bengal are dependent on Health, Road and Rail transport facilities at Jaleswar. But the town fails to meet all these needs of a vast coverage area. No permanent Bus Stand. No sufficient trains to travel all important centers/cities of the country. Poorest health facilities and service as well. The town still struggles with the encroachment issues. No adequate traffic arrangements or road deviders in place. Load shedding is another continuing issue. Needs Government urgent attention to upgrade the town.

It is my Alma Mater.... Lot of lovely memory are attached with same station during my college time... (Without ticket journey in all train stoppage at Jaleswar station) If you are playing to visit Digha, Chandenswar and Bhusendswar then ist is best place for communication...
