Excellent experience. From the reception to our check our was very commendable. There was remarkable coordination between all the departments.The packed breakfast was ready for us at 4.30 in the morning.The rooms were cleaned and toiletries replenished daily .Remarkable for a government set up.Special commendation for the bar tender.

As other properties this lodge is also nice. Large nice rooms, quality food. Recently a bar cum restaurant has been added. It's nice & cozy.

Loved my two days start here. The chicken pakora had chicken and not like other places where bason pakoda are served. Rooms were so nice. Staff so friendly.

We booked a couple of double bed rooms. And they were not up to the mark. Even considering the age of the main building, there was a clear indication of negligence in maintenance. Same could be said about the washrooms as well. Not everything (like taps, sinks, lights) was working properly. Overall ambiance and atmosphere also we didn't enjoy. We expected a bit more calmness and peace in the forest. It was rather a party place. We reached there after noon (way past the check-in time) and yet had to wait for another 1-1.5 hours for our rooms to be cleaned and ready. After a journey of 3 long hours, it was bit irritating and disappointing. Our experience with the in-house restaurant was also below par. For lunch and dinner we had thalis and we were surprised with the poor quality of the items. Nothing was tasty and considering Bengali thali in a Government run place it was disappointing. My parents didn't come for the dinner. And akin to them, quite a number of other families (with kids) who were staying at the property, had their dinner at the near by restaurant. Breakfast was better though. We had hot poories with sabji. Also, you would only get timely services from the staffs if you are ordering alcoholic beverages and having a bash! I guess these ensure a good tip! The best thing about the place is it's location. As the jungle safari starts literally at the front gate. A 2 mins walk! Considering everything if you are looking for a calm, quite family vacation avoid this place. If you have a car or a rented vehicle choose any other property. There are quite a number of them, even the local driver of our rented car was suggesting the same. But we had our booking already done by then!

We were here in Dec, 2019, it's a beautiful resort property near to Jaldapara National Park. It has both rooms & Cottages. We selected their Cottages, it was nice, well maintained & spacious. There are lot of space for kids to play around. Food is bit expensive, however, taste, quality & quantity is absolutely perfect. They will also help in plan your sightseeing or jungle safari though now Jungle safari is booked online. Will definitely recommend Jaldapara Tourist lodge

The property is located between a river and forest. Sitting on your private cottage balcony you can enjoy both the views with a few wild life( if you are lucky). The food was simple and homely. Service was good. Government property, no hidden costs. Overall enjoyed the stay.

Beautiful resort with cottages. Food is delicious and staff are very friendly and helpful. Resort is adjacent to the jungle and if lucky you can spot wild animals in night

Very nice ambience with lot of open space. Staff is serious about work. The rooms are clean and equipped with modern amenities.
