Overpriced and Overrated Jajabor Hotel is a Bengali cuisine restaurant located near Jubilee Park. The price of the food is excessively high. Both the quantity and quality in this price is not justifiable. The ambience is below average and needs improvement. The behaviour of the staffs is good. I ordered Mutton Liver Curry and roti. A piece of roti costs Rs15! Are those made of gold? Even the liver was not tender or juicy and seems to be stale. It's better to avoid.

The over hyped name, Food quality good but praise too much higher then any food joint, atmosphere is too bad, only loose your money, also this restro not accepting Debit or credit card or POS TRANSACTIONS, only cash...too much bad smell at inside the restoration also basin not much hyjenic...out side of this restaurant is good

One of the most oldest restaurants in Jalpaiguri. I used to visit this restaurant during my childhood and I always loved their homely bengali meals. Recently visited for lunch and glad to see that they have maintained their quality till date. Prices are a little on the higher side but the food is outstanding. Highly recommend for delicious Bengali meals. I had a Chicken Kosha Thali and loved every bit of it. They served good amount of Rice, Dal, A vegetable preparation, Chicken Kosha, a Beguni ( Batter fried Brinjal ) and a small quantity of Coriander Chutney. A very satisfying meal it was.

Thali is costly in comparison to cuisine served. Veg Thali costing Rs.150 having Dal, potato fry, ordinary mix veg, small bowl tomato chatni.

If you are a authentic Bengali food lover this is the place to be in. No style ,no fuss, no great ambience but only authentic recipe of traditional Bengali food . Food is prepared in traditional style spices . The dal, mutton curry, fish preparation, country chicken curry, chital peti curry is awesome in taste. The place is good for family dining only open in morning till 4 pm. They serve only rice . The veg lovers also have option of great taste of traditional Bengali curry . If you are bong food lover must visit during your trip in jalpaiguri. Nearby the teesta garden is good for evening walk

Food quality have detoreated and also the serveice is slow, as per money to taste and quatily ratio we can say so so, living by the old name and hyped

Too much higher price, not recommend from me, 150 veg thali you will get same thali with same taste at other hotel.
