Let's start with the place area and parking facility which was pretty good. Hygiene seems to be compromised due to less crowds and benches and food utensils were not up to the mark clean. The service was good and the people were nice. Talking about the price it was pretty much the same as the other sitting dhabas outside. Food was moderate not exceptional. One thing that bothers me is clean utensils which should be the first priority.
Only good thing about Jain shikanji is it's cleanliness. Rates of hot coffee and cold coffee is comparable with a good established cafe but quality and taste is below average.
Definitely try their aloo pyaz parantha and the malai kulfi for sure.
Ambience is huge and clean. Parking area is grand. The location is apt. Packed food including preservatives like pickle, candies, saunf (fennel), chooran also available. Paranthas were good served with butter and pickle. Curd available separately.
Very high price of un tasty food basic dal makhani is not tasty. Even shikanji is tasteless(should work on it). Just ambience is good nothin else.
Jain shikanji is very famous for their shikanji. As i found ambience was cleaned and hygiene, seating area is quite big. I ordered shikanji and aloo prantha from there, and yes it was nice. Staff was also good and professional. So i liked it Note:- Everything is mentioned in menu card, is not available so they must change it or make it available.
The restaurant is very well furnished in terms of furniture because all the tables and chairs are wooden and gives a very posh look. It has a seating capacity of around hundred people. So there is no problem in bringing your entire family or the people of a tourist bus. The place is neat and clean, adds to the comfort of the customers . I just had morning tea at around 7:30. The sugar is very wisely put--not sweet and but enhancing the tea flavour. As of the food I haven't tasted, but the lack of kitchen smell inside the dining area shows that the restaurant keeps High standard.
