Very bad experience. The caretaker is a very rude person. Even basic cleaning is missing. Attaching a photo of garbage dumped in the corridor near the room. Bedsheets, washrooms etc were also similarly very dirty. When asked to clean he says gwalior Mai Aisa hi milta hai, safayi chahiye to 5 star Mai jao. The way he talked to me and my parents was the worst thing about the stay. The rooms had lots of shoe marks, and lizard poop spread all over the place. It seems the rooms were not cleared since a few days. Again when asked for cleaning, he rudely says isse jyada safayi chahiye to dusri jagah jao ya khud saaf karlo. Overall very bad experience and very bad behaviour by the care taker.
After very long time I have attended a wedding ceremony here. It is spreaded in very large area and you can plan the event way you want . Location is also very reachable, almost at the center of the city. There is no issue of public transport even at late night.
It is a very bad place, the manager and staff here do not have the manners to talk to people.
The simple room not a ful furnished room
Jain chhatrawas is just infront of madhavrao dispensary. They have non AC as well as AC rooms. Rooms are clean and big enough for three to four persons to be accommodated in a room. They have a very big garden which is good for reception of around 1000 people. They have parking space for cars as well. They also have school running in the campus. Don't go by the name chhatrawas, they don't have any boys hostel. We did online booking via yatradham.org
It is also a best place to stay in gwalior city . Rooms are clean and room price is also low starting from 300 rupees. Hostel facility also available for student's. And there is a garden also inside the dharamshala.
